Hq. Sami - this was a huge annoucement of future intentions. Makes perfect sense in terms of the NSS and also RR positioning itself with intentions to expand in the Space Sector. Expect more on this and probably Kilopower Reactors first from the Power Systems team rather than NTP over 2021.
Whilst I agree in principle about the fact USA are pushing a whole narrative around buy/build american. RR might aswell be known as an iconic american company.
Worth a quick read:

Also note we're expecting more announcements this year on the FLRAA programme.

I missed the second contract annoucement - didnt realise an additional $96mil for C130j sustainment was awarded. So it was a $170m defence contract. Keep things ticking over in US.

Pearl 700 engines power the Gulfstream 700 in development. Also Gulfstream are pushing the SAF agenda.
Also no amount of ppl chatting doom and gloom about daily / weekly trends will shift what the long term opportunity that a leaner RR looks like. Its such a boring board where most ppl dont even understand the wider context of the future of the company, for when it makes it's way through the pandemic.

Anyone know anymore about this? Anyone on here work for R2D2 labs within RR?

Whilst I agree Ollie. This is why we innovate and the market and regulation follows. Alot of people are sleeping on where RR is going imo. Hence why i'm accumulating and as i've said this will soon be in the minds of Ark Invest and the yanks so hold on tight.
