So far a strong investor presentation imo. Finally noting that Power Systems and Defence will be the growth segments that are
currently underpinning the company's resilience. Strong cash conversion supporting the Group cash flow recovery.

More outward marketing of the EVTOL sector. As I said a few weeks ago this side will be ramping up based on the general growth in that sector.

Great news on additional funding for Naval autonomy. They've been quietly building those capabilities even after disposing of a key part of the Shipping Division. They've been working with Intel and did a trial with Finferries a few years ago now. Great to see this aswell:
"Wrapping around the Artificial Chief Engineer project will be Rolls-Royce’s Aletheia Framework". More utilisation of the ethical AI tools which the R2 Data labs are pioneering.

Leaves RR in a strong position for this potential contract and getting closer day by day to FLRAA (V280 Valor) news. Both Bell and Boeing been active on social media with posts of both aircrafts.
If thats aimed at me then you're barking up the wrong tree thinking that I dont understand the company. In regards to posting about P+W. It's sharing wider news about the aviation sector. People are happy to speculate about vaccines and lockdowns on here and relate that to RR but share something about the AVIATION sector and another engine maker people go off on one.
Ex aerospace engineer or not - it still has a bearing on the wider aviation sector when another engine maker has significant issues so widely advertised within the media. Clearly there are knock on effects.
The plane's engine, a Pratt & Whitney PW4000, is solely used on Boeing 777s.
Boeing has now said operations of all 777s powered by Pratt & Whitney engines should be suspended until the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) finds an appropriate protocol for inspections.

We are voluntarily & temporarily removing 24 Boeing 777 aircraft powered by Pratt & Whitney 4000 series engines from our schedule. We will continue to work closely with regulators to determine any additional steps and expect only a small number of customers to be inconvenienced.

Let a suitor access to our the very deepest, darkest defence secrets - i think not. If anything with the ARIA announcement today I expect a doubling down in the importance of our UK strategic capabilities and more moonshot funding ie. NTP/Kilopower Reactors. I attending an AE Aerospace Seminar yest and the critical importance of FlyZero and the shift to zero carbon aviation across all sectors of winged transport was reiterated.
