GBP, TRP and ECO are Walvis basin, and around, offshore Namibia. These three juniors are located amongst the majors acreages where there have been good strikes. The majors have the resources to impact the little guys. Check the historical SP performance of the three of them, you will see.

I think this is one of the reasons that GBP is so cheap currently, which provides us all with a potentially amazing buy in price for the Gold exploration. All imo. DYOR.

I was comparing GBP and TRP SPs over time and thinking about where their O&G assets are located offshore Namibia.

I think it is possible that one of the O&G majors, such as Exxon/Chevron/Total etc, has an interest in depressing their SPs over time. In order to acquire them on the cheap.

Is this one of the reasons that GBP has now pivoted to Gold exploration, so that it has an ace up its sleeve?

Yes, look at the current mcap here of £5m odd, compare this to GGP which was over £20 million as it started out on Haveiron when Gold was half its current spot price..

GGP didn't have a significant O&G asset either. This is just the usual 11am AIM drift. Will pick up again later. Traders help build strength into the SP as it moves up.

Yes, Callum knows they need to drill deep enough through overburden as they did at GGP's Haveiron.

One thing in the report made me laugh as it suggests a future mine may not have GGP's issues with the aquifer causing unexpected water ingress:-

"Two water bores totalling 100m were also drilled on behalf of Pingandy Station during this program;

unfortunately flow rates were insufficient for water extraction."

Thanks to JerseyCrew who posted the original 90's drilling data from back in the day yesterday. They were looking for Lead and Zinc in the area:-

They only scratched the surface back then, getting down to just over 100m.

The plan here is to drill down to 600m in four diamond core drills, retrieving cores (not reverse RC as before) for better data modelling of Juno.

Callum Baxter and his team must see the need to get through any overburden to properly assess the asset.

Volume getting on for 500 million already.

This is a huge move building up....

This is an early stage opportunity, still at the ground floor. There are funding risks of course but aren't there risks everywhere?

It's the wider markets Tiger that concern me. Both events have the potential to impact them imo.

I'm sure PPP itself will be fine eventually.

I would like to see this relisted well before the US election and the UK budget.

I don't like the look of either for our investment.
