HAHA Costa my option isn't on your list, as I believe it will go to production, based on the current evidence or facts, but would take 3-4 pounds today, as lots of bargains in the FTSE100 and 250.

I was invested in Fortune Oil ( FTO ) and it was a poster on that site, that made me take a look at Solgold.

You are wrong I posted two of my buys and push the button on this website, at the same time I pushed the button on My ISA to buy. ( So incorrect on that ). These by memory, were my first two buys. They were at the end of 2013, as I used the dividend I got from the sale of Verizon by Vodafone.
My first two buys totaled just under 500,000 shares. Over the next few weeks I purchased just over 1.8 million shares in total, at that point my average is 4.6 pence. ( all brought with my Vodafone dividend )
I have sold just over 600,000 within the 30-40 pence region, so I am in profit already.
I currently hold just under 1.2 million, not planning to sell any more, but that could change, you never know.
On your response of me picking a fight with Earthling, get your facts right.
I was subjected to vile abuse from Earthling, as I was accused of being a deramper, and abused, from day one, yes I defended myself, so would you have. My crime was asking questions.

When I invested Andrew Martin was CEO, and when I started posting on this chat, I didn't know anything about this share or mining in general. I believed what people said, that finding, proving up, and selling, was the way it was done. Not unlike parts of the Oil and Gas sector, which I have invested in for over 30 years. However when NM took over, he only took me a few months to change my mind, and see his vision.

That's interesting redknight, if that is the case, then I am glad that they are decreasing their holding in us.
Two things occur to me.
First: We are offering 11 shares for one CGP share, part of that deal, was we acquired the 7.6% of Solgold shares that they owned, does that affect our bid.

Second: If they are selling shares, then they better call that EGM fast, otherwise they will soon be below 5%, and won't own enough shares to call a EGM.

Interesting Senderos, We have had a plus result on closing price, everyday, since the 29th September, that was the day, with the webinar in which NM started the ball rolling. since then we have had more news, almost daily.
The traders will return, but for me, this seems a sustained rise, that surely must have some retrace, however doesn't look like it's going to be today.

Hi ToS1963, Just look at the drill results on Alpala, lots of missing drill results, that have never been reported on RNS's ever.
Look at other mining companies, that don't have great drill results. When they get a mediocre one, they report that, in a good light, but will never put an RNS up with the others.
That is why, I think it's very hard to assess any miner in the early stages.
My experience in investing is mainly Oil and Gas, this is my first mining share, but their are similarities. I have experience in other sectors, but mainly Oil and Gas, as those were the boom shares. It's all change for that sector, but still look at it, as I believe the change is positive, and those that respond in the correct way, I believe will continue to prosper, but still some corrections to come.

If CGP mean withholding drilling results, that's fine, as not all drill results need to be released, or are released in batches.
I don't expect Solgold to issue a RNS, and say we drilled this hole, and it was a stinker.
They would just use the information gained to say, let's drill over here.
I know that's silly, as they use evidence from the IP surveys, and other drilling results, where to drill.
If CGP say that Solgold are withholding approaches and potential bids, then that's OK as well, as until we get a formal bid, then you don't announce it.
So really not sure, what CGP consider is withholding information, that they shouldn't be.
I personally think, that the calling of an EGM, with no agenda, no alternative board, and no firm date, was done, to damage Solgold in the market.

Sorry Grimbergen, I am not the poster with the most posts on a 30 day rolling average.
I am certainly not obsessed, with telling others, what to think.
I also remember you, as you and Earthling, gave me a hard time, when I first came to this board, all those years ago, asking lot's of questions, as I was not invested at that time, and wanted to start researching.
You have quietened down lately, so haven't brought this up before.
I have never told anyone how to invest, quite the opposite, as have often posted on that subject.
I am keen that the production argument is put forward, as this is what Solgold are saying.
Here's a strange idea, if you disagree with me, put forward your alternative view, and provide the facts and evidence, as I am sure everyone would like to hear it.
Really much better than insulting me, because you cannot defend your arguments.

Good morning redknight The CGP EGM is not happening, where is the date, where is the agenda, where is the announcement of the alternative board. I said this wasn't happening on the day, they announced that they would call an EGM after the 27th.

I suspect those banging on about selling low, will still be here it 6 months, denying they said such a thing.
I also suspect the same crowd, ( apart from those that want out, because of their age ) are really no good at investing, and follow the crowd.

Schlemiel, this question has been settled, extremely expensive to sell concessions to majors, as licenses have to be applied for again, within a shorter timeframe, and they pay more tax.
