Member Info for Quady

I don't usually have problems reading TR1's but I am on this one.
On Jul 22nd we appear to have gone below the 5% threshold for reporting.
Todays RNS shows us at 5.01% and falling again below 5% and then retaining 114,998,840 shares.
So looks like we went above 5% again and then fell again.

On the Jul 22nd RNS we don't have the allocated shares figure, as that field is blank.

This possibly could just be just nominee accounts with normal buying and selling.

Could someone tell me if I am interpreting this wrong, and indeed if their is some pertinent information I have missed.

Agreed Mathersfinger, I want to be involved in companies that have a good environmental and social stance, because it's the right thing to do, and as we grow bigger, we do so from a solid base. We cannot just bolt these things on later, that would be a disaster.

Understand Jezzoo, for the record, I get a bit fed up at times as well, especially with the delay of the PFS, but was more fed up, that the real explanation took time to become widely known. But did what I expect most did on here and reassess the situation.
When I looked at it with fresh eyes, I came to the conclusion that the PFS was a miscalculation, possibly with the purpose to obtain CGP's holding on the cheap. But am happy to continue holding Solgold, because I personally believe that the long term future of the company is good, and that Solgold had changed from being an investment vehicle into becoming a successful mining company. Like everyone else, I wish you all the best.

Sorry Jezzoo, but you did. ESG is such an important part of Solgold. If we didn't do these things, we would never have the permits we require to go forward and we will never get the exploitation licence we require to build Alpala.

Zoros currently you are up 100% that's a lot more than some on here. You could say to friends and family, if you had bought government bonds, put it into a bank or building society savings account, you would not have made as much, even with compound interest. That's part is for you. However I don't know your other investments. But friends and family have a point. Unless you understand what you are doing people lose money in the markets, they are the ones that get angry and blame other people.
May I suggest and it's only a suggestion, that you have a balanced portfolio, and that you have a majority of dividend paying stocks, if you have the expertise to do this, and more speculative investments like Solgold form a small part of your portfolio at the time of purchase.
Believe it or not I wish everybody well on here. Just some of the things I hear are so far out, that I do wonder why they have invested in this share.

KM said production 2025 or before, we need to wait for the PFS, where timescales will be outlined.
A full block operation is 2028, but again this may change in the PFS as surface grade from Tandy may be included in the open cut at Alpala, where we have near surface resources.
No one has said 2028 to start production.
You are conflating with uninformed people on this forum misrepresenting what has been said.

It was announced by Keith Marshall in last presentation. I watch them all. It's October 2021.

Don't need to Zoros, as Solgold has said it.
We wait for the PFS as that has the updated production date.
We are going cheaper and quicker.
It will not be later than 2025.

4 years you cannot count or listen Zoros.

Zoros in todays presentation yes it was Lasso, but it has been 2025 forever, the 2028 date is a full block cave operation.

Yes agreed BNC spread betting would be the way to go.
I however haven't used it for Solgold, as I defy anyone to tell me which way the price will go in any direction.
I guess I wouldn't set my stop loss low enough, and thus get thrown out of a position, because of the wild swings.

I am guessing you may use CFD's as people who use charts often do.
I had a CFD account many years ago, and got it the wrong way round, as many go for spread betting, go into CFD's and then go back to spread betting.

As you know you pay capital gains tax on CFD's and not on spread betting.
As Bobo hasn't risen to the bait. I will explain my point further.

With such small volume of trades, why would anyone use CFD's for a share like Solgold, as even if you did call it right you pay a large amount of tax.
You would use spread betting, as I discovered spread betting after CFD's ( don't ask me how that happened, I guess I was scared off spread betting early, as at that stage I wasn't informed enough ).

The one thing I take from the presentation was what a great job Nick Mather did at Solgold.
He still holds 4 % and controls 20% of the company.
That's just short of NCM and BHP together.
No one is going to bid for Solgold without winning NM over. It would just be to expensive for the bidder.
For those that don't understand the enormous power of a diverse share register ( Diverse book for old hands ), now is the time to start to understand it.

This has got to be the most exciting share I have ever invested in, and I am experienced enough in my 40 years of investing not to jump ship too early, and not benefit from the full potential here.

I look forward to the years ahead, and not the short term views by the posters that constantly attack my views.

Note to Zoros: Production in 2025 or before, all that stuff you post about 2028 is not true.
The 2028 date refers to completion not production.

We have the potential for 12 Alpala's and that's just with our upcoming drilling sites.

Morning Jerry, I have seen enough from you, to say I believe you know what you are talking about. However could I ask you, rcgl2 and others like me who used to have a CFD trading account to keep quiet on this forum, until Bobo the clown answers my question. As I am pretty sure you and others know the reasons why CFD's would not be used in Solgolds instance.
I want to give this clown enough rope.

I see Bobo is talking about my lack of experience in investing.
Yet all he has done is show that he has read something and not understood it.
Why on earth would anyone use CFD's within the Solgold environment. It's a risk you don't need to take.
I will leave him unfiltered so he can reply to my question.

Name any company that allows you to trade CFD's in Solgold, and show how many have been traded?
