The problem I fear with the Redknight update, is he will leave out the salient information. I have no doubt that he will inform us accurately of what Solgold says, while at the same time disbelieving it and saying Solgold cannot bring us to production. Which is what Solgold are saying. If he carrys on doing this. Then at some stage he is going to have to admit that all the stuff that he and addicknt have said that Solgold cannot bring this to production, has been misinformed at best, or just a complete lack of knowledge on engineering projects and how they are financed. No I don't prosess that knowledge, but have seen it done, with all the naysayers saying I am an expert in this or that and it cannot be done. For those that know the stories of any of the great construction projects undertaken by the Victorians, is was the finance people that said impossible and the engineers that built them.

So DBW are you saying that because BHP are raising cash, that we will have a bid.
Please don't answer, as I know you don't.
That was my point, by all means post BHP raising cash, but don't twist the story and pretend this means a bid for Solgold. That's just silly.

Really if someone heard a story that the head of BHP had three weetabix for breakfast, you would get someone or some people twisting the story saying this means a bid for Solgold is imminent.

Easyp, it doesn't free up money to make a bid. BHP have always had the money to make a bid, but haven't. Ask yourself why.
That would be a more interesting post.

I did hold 1.8 million at an average of 4.6 pence, I currently hold just under 1.2 million. the average is the same, as I brought all my shares in 2013 over a few weeks. I have brought no more since.

Shipright I find myself in agreement with Zoros, if manipulation was happening in Solgold. You would be able to see it. Let people show the tools they use to show manipulation. They cannot because it doesn't happen. When people talk about big blocks being put up, they are only a quarter of a million shares or half a million shares. These are not big. Many investors on here have more as personal holdings. Even a couple of million would not be big, we just have no volume, and so they have a disproportionate effect at the moment, we cannot even trade ten million a day, which if we did, would still be low. If people think this is manipulation, then show the evidence, they can't so they call other people derampers or worse accuse them of multiple id's or working together. BBG is not an informed investor, nobody behaves in this way.
Don't be taken in by the conspiracy theorists.
We hopefully get the PFS soon, and hopefully that will give us a clearer indication of the path Solgold is taking. But don't be surprised if it shows a route to production, as that's been the company's direction for some years now.

Let me get this right redknight, you are saying bankers won't let borrowers roll up interest they cannot pay.
Does that mean if the DFS/BFS shows they can pay it, they will lend it.

I believe it does.

In my previous post Redknight I said interest would be rolled up and staged so as to be affordable.

Also how would NM have lined up a CEO if he went sooner than planned , that's my point.

Financing is cheaper if 100% of ENSA is used for CF . Solgold and CGP will I believe cooperate.

That's why I think CGP are happier.

I think Ecuador has fired the starting pistol to help companies like Solgold to get to production sooner.
Do you remember the interview with Ecuador's minister of mining under Moreno. He asked what he could do to speed up production. I can't remember who responded on behalf of Solgold. I think it was NM .
But he said grant licenses faster.
None of us know just how much of a hold this has been, and the latest announcement from Lasso may mean that Solgold find it easier to stick to their timetable and not disappoint on timescales.

Redknight that has been my whole point for years. I believe that Solgold wanted to acquire CGP's 15% of ENSA on the cheap. Hence the previous PFS that was abandoned, which CGP had no chance of raising the required finance for their share of costs. CGP are happier today. No one knows why. But isn't it possible that Solgold and CGP are going to use 100% of ENSA to raise all or some part of the finance. I believe Solgold have given up trying to get CGP'S share of ENSA and they will be working together to bring Alpala to fruition. It would explain why NM also stepped down early without any conspiracy theories. NM was always going to step down at some stage to make way for a CEO who could build Alpala. I think he went early to advance the financing as well.

To be fair Shipright it's the Solgold stated strategy that we will do things in parallel.

Everyone one this chatroom knows I am dyslexic, no they don't sell ENSA , they use it as a surety which Solgold gives them backing to take loans that staged and interest rolled up. Don't be surprised if this forms part of Solgolds financing as well.

Yep Redknight what you are talking about is a hostile bid not a concert party. No concert party was ever formed to oust NM.

Thank you Redknight for taking the mickey out of the fact I am mildly dyslexic, I am quite pleased that you continue to head up your post with that fact. You are supposed to know about finance, but cannot recognize that their share of ENSA could be used to raise their share of costs, if the PFS and comes in cheaper and quicker.
Says it all really.

Once again DBW we are in agreement , I have always said that if someone acquired CGP's share of ENSA and their Solgold shares, then depending on who acquired them , something materially would have changed and I would reconsider if a bid was less likely or more likely.
