It doesn't matter what the PFS values us at if someone is going to bid.
Because no bidder will be looking at the share price, they will be looking to pay a percentage of the NPV.
Because no one in their own right owns more than 15% you need a bid to convince the other interested parties to sell, for the bid to be successful.
The book is still to diverse, some holdings need to be brought out and consolidated, before a hostile bid is likely.

Monte I have been here since 2012, I invested in 2013.
Every month we have stories of a bid or so called evidence of a bid, it's all fluff.
Look at the evidence. Nothing has changed, we proceed to production and people forget this is the long haul.

Plan A is the main plan and that is to head to production.
Plan A is the main plan otherwise it wouldn't be called plan A.
Plan B is if we get an outstanding bid, then we consider selling .

So when he says Plan A begets plan B, he is saying the further we go to production, the more attractive and the further de-risked this is for a bidder.
We haven't even raised the money yet, let about started construction.

Monte the standstill agreement was in place as this is a normal defense, to allow our share price to increase without interference. You seem to forget that had anyone made a formal bid for us before 15th Oct 2020, then BHP would have been released from it.
Hence the standstill agreement.
As I have said so many times, people don't listen to what the company is saying, they put their own spin on announcements, so that it fits their world view.

May I remind people that on the 15th October 2020, BHP's standstill agreement came to an end.
The same people said we would be bid for in a matter of weeks, some said days and that the PFS made no difference.
The same conditions exist now as they did then, and if you didn't understand why we received no bid then, you won't understand why we will receive no bid after the PFS.
The Solgold BOD will not accept a low bid, they will proceed to production and we will not be offered a high bid till we are producing or close to production.
We need the PFS to outline costs and timescales, as this is the next step in our evolution.

Remember how the book is divided. NM here holds the winning cards.
Together they own less than 30%, so to make a hostile bid is out the question for BHP.
They need an agreed bid with Solgold for all the same reasons that existed yesterday and still exist today.
However enjoying the recent rise in the share price.
Like everyone else, waiting for the PFS.
This I believe will outline the way forward.

No one is going to make a hostile bid for Solgold because mainly of the diverse book.
We would have had one by now.
A consultative bid means Solgold dictate the terms, not BHP or anyone else.
BHP has said in the last year at least twice to my knowledge, that they will not pay full value for any asset.
Hence why I still say the most likely course is we take Alpala to construction.

Sorry addicknt in your second from last post a hostile bid is off the table because it would be costly and time consuming. That has been my point for years.
In your last post you say we would lose a hostile bid so we have to have a consultative bid.

You said BHP would just buy us, I have said we can defend unless we get a fair to full offer, dependent where we are in the mining cycle.
The further we go, the more valuable we are.
You are correct, BHP cannot launch a hostile bid for us because the diverse book makes it more costly and time consuming, unless they have a concert group.
Again the diverse book means a concert group unlikely as no party is going to sell out cheap.
Hence my 2 pounds a share still looks reasonable.
But we need to see how the PFS values Cascabel on a Gold, Copper and Silver basis and also construction costs.
But most importantly mine design and construction timetable.
