My alternative is what Solgold say and what CGP say. and how do we come up with a scenario that makes both true.
May I suggest that CGP are happy because they can use their 15% in ENSA to raise funds and take us to production making any bid along the way more profitable and if no bid arrives, then we have a plan to take us to production .

However I do disagree with you on one point. We don't fully understand CGP's position.
If CGP won't sell out and want a part in the spoils, then the book remains diverse and we advance to production.

My argument is that we won't get £3 a share.

On taking part in further issues , it may well be clear to maintain their percentage holding. I would expect the same of BHP.
My point is no one is selling, as they realize what they are holding.
So no bid can succeed as long as no one sells.
Hence part of the diverse book argument.
Sure if we get a full value offer relating to NPV then we would almost certainly be sold and we don't go to production as Solgold.
But just think for a minute and see what that means.
It is so unlikely and after PFS it may mean £3 a share.
This is why I believe to achieve the value we all want as shareholders we proceed to production. Or we give in and sell cheap.
Hence why I want to see the numbers in the PFS on costs of build and timescales, but more importantly the CFP. In order to calculate the overall cost and how we finance the build.
That is when we may get a bid, when Solgold has the money to go to production. And no there will ne no bidding war, it will be a single bid which will be accepted of declined.

That's what I was beginning to think addicknt, but would be nice to hear something official .

NCM have said on more than one occasion that they will not be selling their stake in Solgold and that they will seek to increase their holding. I guess they mean through taking part in future share issues.
It's all part of the diverse book argument of which Slug again doesn't understand.
One thing that is unclear to me.
We talked about finding partners for 20 tenements ( ten properties ) not heard any further news on that item, and would be nice to know if talks are taking place.

Correct addicknt it was said shortly after the end of BHP's standstill agreement. The part of increasing their holding was in the same statement.

The one thing that NCM have stated is their holding in Solgold is not for sale and their strategy is to increase their holding.

Good afternoon DBW a fair assessment and we all have our own ideas and outcomes.
However I may have an idea why CGP seem happy and silent at the moment.

I know we disagree on wherever or not Solgold will take Alpala to production, and most on here would say that is the worst outcome for CGP and so they wouldn't be happy if we went to production.

The question for Solgold and CGP is the same however.
How do we get Alpala to production with minimal dilution and deliver shareholder value.

I think Solgold and CGP have an agreement on funding and that this is happening in the background.
CGP need Solgolds permission to use their 15% of ENSA to use as a surety.
If this is agreed than this makes funding to bring Alpala to production easier as 100% of ENSA could be used as collateral and provide debt funding rather than the issuing of stock. Yes more stock will need to be issued for further exploration but that will be kept to a minimum and if we get other sites to PEA and it looks like a goer, then more streaming deals can be done to get them to PFS.
We have not heard Ingo say anything about funding for some time, since he said he has a billion in the pipeline.
If the PFS comes in considerably cheaper, then I feel that CGP will be more than happy with their share of the costs.

Ortherncopper the company has never said that they will do the PFS and DFS in parallel.
They said that they are preparing the PFS in such a way that it will be able to be used to complete the DFS faster.
