Am I reading this right.
First we had a cut off point of 0.3 then 0.21, then 0.2 and now 0.16
No wonder the resource estimate has increased.
If the cut off point was zero then the resource would be infinite.
Can anybody make sense of this on a like for like basis.

Addicknt that is not what I said, I said NM and his people, so not just NM.
Any takeover would see people at the top go, and replaced. This means those relationships and levels of trust and agreed understandings also go.
I have seen this many times in the I.T industry when bidding for government projects in the UK and Europe. Sometimes you cannot even enter the bidding process for years, let about win contracts. This is not as easy as you think.
Please explain why Ingo said nobody can build Alpala as quickly as Solgold ?

People on this Forum have been screaming offer since hole 5.
Yet no offer.

So BHP will keep NM and his people to run Solgold, as these are the people who have the relationships.
You cannot buy them.
You can only buy what has been achieved so far.

It's about all the permitting to come.
The company has built relationships and trust.
That takes time to build.
Solgold have those relationships.

Anyone taking over Solgold would have to build the relationships with various agencies to continue Alpala to production.
That could take years.

Good afternoon Copperpot, I too hold your view.
May I add Solgold said some time ago that no one can build Alpala faster than Solgold.
I believe the reason this was said is in order to build Alpala, you have to have to have a good working relationship with the mining authorities and Government. In order to get the permitting done ASAP.
Solgold have that, if we were sold, whoever brought us wouldn't.

It's 2.2 billion.

Sure we can negotiate but that doesn't mean selling up cheap, and nobody will pay what we want. Hence it's plan A all the way.

My thoughts are clear on this .

Agreed bid means we get the price we want, but no one will pay that.
Hence why I do see it being a hostile bid, and I am sure you understand what that ensues.
