Correct Redknight you don't know what's holding down the bid.
Auto trades are the majority of shares on nearly every index around the world.
No one is holding this down it's just low volumes.
I am beginning to think you should have to take a small exam on how trades work before you can post on this site.

They probably have no connection with the fund managers who run the funds.

Black rock is a fund manager, it trades Solgold in funds.
It is an enormous company and it will defend its reputation and fire anyone who doesn't meet its high standards.
They are never going to manipulate a share price or put out false information to control it.
It's just the selling and buying of units in those funds that determine how much stock black rock holds.
We have had our differences, but I don't label you as a conspiracy theorist unlike some of the nutters on here.
Do you believe Solgold are so important for the success of black rock that it would risk its hard won reputation.
They wouldn't do it for the biggest companies in the world.

Lastly on volume.
We are talking about small volume.
You made the point small volumes are easy to manipulate.
That's not true for the following reasons.

Why manipulate a company with small volumes. It makes no sense, the small volumes keep the price low.
Next people are on here obsessed by people borrowing shares.
Why on earth would black rock do that. It would just buy and sell on the open market to reflect the size of it's funds.
As you know funds are weighted and I am guessing Solgold is less than one percent.
If it was higher then the weighting would have a disproportionate effect on the whole fund.
These things are carefully calculated.

Then show the evidence DBW how are they manipulating this share.
You can't because they are not.
Lastly how on earth do you manipulate a share price with such low volume.

We just have lack of volume.
Black road is a fund manager and has a fund or funds that contain Solgold in them.
So when units are bought or sold, then Solgold shares are bought and sold at the same time along with all the other company shares in that particular fund or funds.
This is not rocket science.

Morning addicknt, yes I do believe Solgold when they say we had a billion lined up. As this could have been offtake or royalty agreements. It's not something a company says if it's a lie.
Yes the company is changing its position and I am changing mine along with it, as I look at facts and follow the evidence chain.
I haven't seen anything that indicates a sale of Alpala or Solgold as a whole.
So looks like we are going to production as a JV at the moment.

Everyone knows these are automatic trades, so every sell has a buyer.
Nothing to do with holding the price down or anything like that.
People on here commented about five million traded. That's about half the minimum we require on a daily basis.
We have low volume, it's nothing else.

With the CGP situation we seem to be modifying our position and the most likely outcome is JV to production.

Every time someone has said this will be bid for and a bid was imminent, I have looked at the situation and concluded extremely unlikely.

I have always maintained the most likely outcome, and I have nuanced that as we have proceeded towards production.
I accept fully things have changed. The biggest one being the CGP story. But guess what we are now talking about a JV to guess what. Take Alpala to production.
No one has suggested selling Alpala or Porvenir, but we have suggested selling other tenements.
So that rubbishes the argument that we wouldn't advertise a sale, as that is exactly what we have done for other tenements.
I think it's time you tried to work out how I have called this correctly and you haven't.
To pretend anything else is deluded.

I suspect the majority on here knows what an uncrossing trade is, but reading this forum makes you want to bang your head on the desk, when you read how some people see these trades
However I have not seen PME's discussed much.
So like IRR this is just another metric used to determine viability.
