How much money do you reckon Solgold needs to raise before we can acquire loans for the rest of the 2.4 billion dollars to construct Alpala.

Bozi it makes perfect sense owning 100% of ENSA.
It the ability to raise finance on more preferable terms.

Work out our NPV on Alpala alone.
Look at the cost to bring to partial production, so we generate funds to complete a full block cave production mine, when the cost of extraction is even lower.
Look how much this can be funded through offtake, loans and a JV agreement.
We would have minimal dilution.

Good morning Copperpot, that is what I think they are looking at, it accords with the statement that we are going to look at faster extraction in the early years.

I don't think some on here have been reading what is happening.
They are ignoring what doesn't accord with their worldview, and looking at the flimsy statement's that supports their desire to be taken out.

Please someone answer the following questions.

We know we have raised 50 million that is ring fenced and can only be spent on Cascabel. Why have we done that?

We know we are taking 36 million from the CGP deal to advance our regional drilling program.
Why have we done that ?

We know the strategic review is looking at a JV partner and looking for cost savings at Alpala.
Including looking at hydroelectric and an even faster extraction in the early years.
Why are we doing that?

This for me all points to a JV, otherwise why do these things.

Also the company has said it's looking for a JV which has been a step change since the announcement of the CGP deal.

And yet people are still talking about a bid.
I don't know why any of you read updates on Solgold, and then twist them so badly, that you pretend you know what you are talking about, when people have been shouting for nine years a takeover is imminent.
It's the same bunch.
Why can't they see it.

Yes DBW, we all do including myself.
It's how we reproach oneself and how we adjust our thinking that makes the difference.

I take your point.
However they were questions for everyone who is convinced we are going to receive a bid.
That post was saying why are we behaving this way if we are going to receive a bid.
All our actions show we proceed down the path to production and we are going to start a targeted drilling program again.

For the record I have never said production was a certainty, just the most probable outcome.
It is addicknt who tries to pretend that's my absolute view.
It's rubbish of course, but some on here believe him.

Smickster that's my whole point for years, BHP cannot make a bid because of the diverse book.
Not many on here understand.
In order to make a bid that would be successful they can do it in one of two ways.
First way: They can talk to the major holders and find out what they would sell for. Good luck with that one, as no one is selling cheap.
Second way: They can launch a hostile bid and as such they would understand it would have to be of such a size that the major holders would sell
That would be even more expensive.
Addicknt has been constantly wrong on this.
The diverse book has protected us from bids. And still does.

Good morning DBW a low ball bid for me is a moving target.
As we have proven up more. But because we don't have a PEA for Porvenir then any bid would be only a percentage of Alpala at any given point in time.
So I recently said between 30% to 40% of NPV at this stage.
So between 46 pence to 61 pence.
That's what I consider a low bid.
As nothing else is taken into account.
