DBW I have always said the most likely outcome is we go to production.
I have never talked in absolutes on here, no matter how hard addicknt has tried to pretend I have.
I used to believe we would be sold. However in 2015 I changed my mind after the company continuously maintained going to production as the aim.
I listen to the company I am invested in not the noise on this forum.
So if the company changes direction and says we are looking for a buyer I will of course listen.
It is people like you that dig in with indefensible post's that pretends it's one or the other.
Let's remember we have ten tenements which are either up for JV or for sale. I believe Pinot referred to one this morning.

So you compare BHP to Solgold on percentage of trades.
That is mad.
Take a look at other companies like GGP and compare them to Solgold on trades.
Especially when there was a lot of activity.
0.5% is what you require to show you that people are at least noticing Solgold.
But for some reason with all your experience you seem unaware of that.
We have no volume, yet this morning you are comforted by a couple of small trades.
Why cannot people talk about the future of Solgold and stop talking about this rubbish that there is going to be a bid.
If it happens it happens, but we have zero evidence for one, and those that have been saying a bid is imminent for the last ten years can I fear only be described as loons.

Let me help you guys identify the loons.
These are the people that say a bid is imminent constantly for the last ten years.
They have been constantly wrong, but will never accept it, because they are loons.
They think that twitter feeds or broker notes are some sort of evidence. Only loons with very little experience of investing could think in this way.
They criticise those that have been correct and continue to tell people that the people who are correct don't understand the cooperate world and that they do.
Even though they have been 100% wrong.
They have high powered jobs and are complete fantasists, who are in turn supported by other fantasists who think they have been accepted.

We have to wait now for the strategic review and hope this shows us how we construct Alpala.

Sorry not condescending at all.
Many on here purposely misleading folk, pretending they know what they are talking about.
I try to inject some understanding and reality as to how we are here, and just as importantly how we got here.
I believe this is a good investment, but for all the reasons I have posted, that we still have a way to go.
I also am unsure about certain aspects, but unlike the folk that mislead, I am honest about my misgivings.
Unfortunately that leaves me open to attack.

Let's wait for the strategic review to be published.
This will hopefully give us a clearer path, because at the moment that's what we require.

Those expecting a bid by Jan 9th or on Jan 9th are wrong again.
We are not expecting a bid as we don't even have any indication of a bid.
The clue here is the he 0.6% royalty deal for offtake.
The 50 million is ring fenced for Cascabel.
That means that's where the activity is.
So the only question is how is Cascabel going to play out.
Well we need to wait for the strategic review to see the way Cascabel is going to be funded and show us the direction of travel.

Understand your point about the DFS.
But maybe the strategic review is to short circuit the DFS and BFS and go straight to production with a JV .
Maybe more than one partner.

Yes people want what we have.
They just want it cheap.
The book has just become more diverse, so now it's harder to acquire.
This is because more parties to talk to. And none of them selling cheap.
We have no option but to continue with development at this moment in time.
I think this is what the strategic review is all about.
It's about the best way to proceed.

The 50 million is to advance Cascabel. It cannot be used to advance Cascabel to a salable package.
The reason for this is it is a royalty deal or offtake at 0.6%
So the money can only be used to advance to production, so that they can start collecting on the 0.6%
I expect further information when we get the strategic review.

As DBW says why let the facts get in the way of a good story.
But that's what most do on here.
So let's look at the facts.
Today the book is more diverse than it has been since I invested and this has meant no bid for all the obvious reasons.

The share price is in the doldrums and indicates no bid.

We have a strategic review which in part is looking how to bring Alpala to production cheaper and faster.

We have raised 50 million which is ring fenced and can only be used to advance Cascabel.

We have a further 36 million for exploration.

The one thing we do not have is any bid interest, not even a rumour of a bid.

Addicknt that is not how you currently value Solgold today.
All you have done is take the market cap and divide by the number of shares.
Of course that will always come out at the share price.
We have the NPV which I believe is roughly 3.6 billion pounds.
We then multiply it by 30% to 40% to give us our range for PFS, which is where we are at .
Then divide by 3 billion.

So 30% of 3.6 billion is 1.08 billion divided by 3 billion is roughly 35 pence a share.

40% of 3.6 billion is 1.44 billion divided by 3 billion is roughly 47 pence a share.

So a rough current valuation is between 35 and 47pence a share for Cascabel alone, with no further money spent.

This is ludicrously low, as it increases substantially should we obtain funding and start production.
At a conservative estimate these figures double giving us between 70 to 94 pence a share, which increases as we proceed.

Seanhunter is deluded.
On Advfn he says he is up 1800% on Solgold.
But on here is panicking.
He now says that he is going to report the Solgold board of directors for talking about going to production, and outlining the strategic review.
Complete troll.

Addicknt are you on about NM saying Solgolds shares will be sold as a representative of DGR.
Because if so, that is entirely consistent with Solgold taking this to production under a JV.
If however he has made the announcement as a Solgold NED, then I grant you that is entirely different.
Which one is it please.

What on earth are some on about when they say no mention of production.
This is the AGM.
Their was no mention of us being bid for or up for sale either.
This is what the strategic review is about.
It's how we can best monetise Alpala.
We just require a bit more patience.
