If people have Solgold shares in pensions then the don't have to have dividends to crystallise assets, in order to have available cash for drawdown.
That's one example.
Also people moving share's from a private holding to an account happens.
But the most common is day traders who set limits making small amounts of money.
So they sell at a level set and then set a buy level just high enough to make say fifty pounds.
On a day with limited trading, this can look like manipulation to those that have no idea about trading.
It's simple, if these fools think share price manipulation is happening, go to the relevant authority and summit your evidence.
You are right not to buy into this nonsense.
Just another reason why volume matter's.
It stops this type of nonsense, as the price usually goes one way or another and these trades become more difficult to make.
