Hi Willec, I would tend to agree, but from Leo's history, he's not exactly a quitter and has a good reputation. As you say, it's there in the ground, so I am confused with all of this. Initially I was seriously upset, but the more I think about it, there must be something else going on in the background that we are unaware of just yet, which he, Big Mike et Al. Know /have been made aware of. He's got sufficient shares to loose money on with Bpc, so will be keeping an eye on who is selling. Maybe I am just being too hopeful? I'll wait but my finger will be very close to the sell button for the next few months
Hi JTK, good afternoon. I agree, re dilution, we have a hit and a free drill, BPC have yet to drill, and at a far greater depth which makes me nervous if it's a duster. Ah well, as they say, yer pays yer money and makes yer choice.. I have no doubt that this will go ahead, not sure if I will stick around after it happens. Its about time both companies had things go well for a change. Gka!
Q
Hi Starchild, hope this finds you well! Thank you for your reply. Yes, I hope so too. This is rather odd, and with the reputation Leo Koot has in the industry, and his shareholding, there must be more to it than currently meets the eye. Cerp have just tweeted that Leo is going to be doing an interview, he always comes across very well, let's see what he has to say...
(seriously though folks , read the RNS's they make a good read)
Good luck all!
Q
As a long term holder in CERP of no small amount, the reason I (we) are hacked off is we have just drilled an exploritory well with excellent results at the lower level, with more information to come. the next drill in a few months is costing nothing, can't get a better api and we were set for it to transform the business. Those of you who think CERP is a dead duck should read the recent RNS's. We are upset as we feel that this is being sold out for a song at a fraction of the actual price. I stress: we have found oil, lots..
I am not sure that Schroders can sell atm as they are party to inside information...
Hi Bamps, thanks for the reply, appreciated. I'd toyed with them several times but luckily I never bought. This has really thrown me, I'll watch and see, but currently I just don't understand why we are giving away everything on one drill with Bpc. I suspect that I won't be the LTH for much longer.
Wishing you all well, I do hope that we get more news that turns this around.
A very disappointing day
Q
Bamps, sure you are already doing it, but you have clearly go a lot of technical understanding, will you be looking at the information on the Bpc drill?
I have just emailed the company asking for an explanation as to why, when we just received 'transformational' news we are being sold out cheaply
I am uneasy, but willing to listen, LK et Al. has skin in the game to loose so what I want is a very detailed video from Leo detailing why he has done this. bigmj, do you know if Leo intends to do a detailed interview?
Well l am not going to guess, LTH when I bought, LTH now, LTH I will remain, I'll argue who came 1st 2nd or 3rd the day I cash out.. 10 years before I might consider retirement so plenty to come good (or bad, can't miss out the trolls, gotta treat everyone with respect)
Hope you are all well and safe
Ah Bully, I have just realised that Irene is right!
She's using Superstring theory and is either in the 5th or 6th dimensions where all possible permutations in the Universe are evident.
Now the real question we should all be asking is not if Kootsie is going to be successful, as clearly he will in one or more dimensions, but what is the formula is Irene using to find out which dimension he's going to be unsuccessful in. and we can all teleport away...
LLL, broken record or what, you tried this one ages ago
Cheers Bamps!
Hi Bamps, hope you are having a great Bank holiday weekend. I did sometime on an anchor handler in the North Sea and occasionally we did survey work. If I remember correctly, the rig would put a microphone down after drilling and we would let off a huge bangs. I think this was for determing the path of the drill? I assume that this is only needed for non vertical drills? Is the same sort of thing done on land?
My pleasure Hollybean! Have a great weekend
Hi Irene, I didn't do gas, only oil, but I know that the pigs are generally much bigger. As for the launching system, they used to be dropped in by hand with an uncomplicated manual system. My other post wasn't too clear on re-reading. The question would be: is the requirement to load multiple grades of oil? The SPM could have one or multiple pipes. If multiple, each one could be dedicated to a specific grade therefore negating the need for pigs between parcels. You may still need a pig to clean - not an expert, but let's face it, if we get to the point where we need an SPM, pigs, launchers, or not, I hope that you and others have plenty of shares tucked away as it'll be because they have a load to shift and I'll retire (and maybe buy a boat for myself!). Time will tell.. Will wait quietly watching the fun on here. Have a good Bank Holiday weekend all
In my day they were round like a bowling ball and as they popped out at the manifold gave a big snorting noise (hence 'pigs') and could go around bends not that the bends were ever sharp or you would get a pressure issue. They would have to be reasonably flexible I would assume. If the buoy is particularly large it could have multiple feeds as in the diagram on the earlier link, and no need for them (they must do for cleaning and blockages) not sure there I was on the bridge making sure we didn't spill anything!
Lol, they all say that ;p
I have probably lost my sea legs now its been a few years
Oh, and if you are interested in what pigs are and why they are called pigs take a look at: https://youtu.be/AbOL0j9G6Zw
