I believe he used quotes like
using a sledgehammer to crack a nut
and
The dog will catch up with the car.
I met him and he seemed fair and honest, but if i am honest every successful con man does.
That is not saying zaza is a con man , just fact is a successful con man does not look or act like one
The excitement (what seems an age ago now ) about FRR was the supposed gas in place.
Any talk of green energy could legitimately be about large scale gas production. It still fits as green energy.
The latest technology is hydrogen included in the gas as a by product.
Natural gas is a fossil fuel and therefore emits CO2 when it is burned to produce energy. The claim that gas is green and clean is founded on its environmental properties relative to the other fossil fuels, oil and coal, notably:
Lower sulphur dioxide (SO2) emissions, responsible for acid rain,
Lower nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions, responsible for urban smog,Lower particulate matters emissions, responsible for health and visibility problems, and
Lower carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, responsible together with other greenhouse gases for
climate change.
Can anyone confirm the email received is legitimate, i mean from the company as a legitimate correspondence.
Not a fake account (new email set up like FronteraGE@gmail.com ) and not by a rogue ex employee .
Has FRR really been producing all this time? If so do we not have rights to see production, revenue and expenditure docs?
I really hope this is all true, but i have learnt the painful lesson on being overly hopeful in recent past
There lays the Problem
This is the person that acquired shares at a highly discounted rate and then attempted to force liquidation to recover the supposed value he claimed. He is a shark.
If he liquidates the company then likelihood is we get nothing.
If FRR does not exist then our shares are worthless. We have to remember that the loan was to US. As in, as shareholders (joint owners) of FRR, he leant the BOD money ( forgetting the in's and out's of how he did so) so to a company we part own. So my reasoning is why would he want to give us anything. If his intention was to force liquidation, so he takes the company, he takes it lock stock and smoking barrel. We are left with sweet FA.
My only hope in this, would be that the company structure has to remain to keep the PSA. However apart from us, who really cares. All the Georgians would want is an income for the country selling hydrocarbons. Hope wants as much money as he can legally acquire and lawyers will want as much of the pie as their greedy little hands can scoop up.
So can someone explain why, as shareholders, that we could get anything in this deal, other than a bad taste in our mouths.
I so hope i am wrong.
Yes it will be quite Ironic, if after us all talking about Hope as a vulture and trying to steal our Company, that he turns out to be the saviour.
That would suit me fine
After all this time i would like a decent profit, but today just my cash back would be welcomed.
To be honest for my health, i would like to see a line drawn under this. perhaps Mr Hope could speak to shareholders.
SN and Zaza have had opportunity via normal methods and failed to update us in any manner.
Coggy, don't worry mate i got a good grip on my mobile in the hot tub, but crashed my drone ! Insured new for old thou
Where is this going?
If OMF are going for shares belonging to Zaza and SN then that sounds positive, in that there is still a shareholding structure. Then to profit those shares would have to have a value
Contradicting that is the ongoing Liquidation.
If liquidation of all FRR carries on then what value are the shares.
Can i ask why some think Hope wants a value including with us, is he actually the good guy?
Most hedge fund companies are predators, they take all the meat off the bone like vultures.
Yet we almost had a takeover due to hope, FRR BOd fought against it but from Memory it was fairly good.
Zaza etc said stopped it as was way below value. Was it thou ? or did it cut off a cash making machine from them?
I never thought i would still be in limbo all this time after we were delisted, i expected lights out or golden tickets.
To back up and be fair about my earlier post
We can not make judgement about anyone yet
it is equally plausible that Zaza could see something going on and started to look after his own interests.
We have to remember that SN has been here before and watched a lucrative oil find slip away to others.
Bad management? a fool?
Or could it be the shady world of oil.
Back handers and smoke and mirrors?
Just saying its better for all, if they fake a loss of company deal and any profit gets shared between them and not the shareholders
ITS CALLED GREED
I do find it rather interesting that SN walked away from that but found the money to start up again in Georgia all those years ago.
Where did that cash come from?
How has he made same mistake twice?
Some times the devil dresses to look like the angel and vice versa.
Zaza or SN take your pick guys as in all honesty both are in the running.
This post is just to balance previous post, as sometimes what seems as facts can be in fact misleading
A film coming out in next ten years regarding frontera Resources and the shenanigans within a company.
Seriously if i watched a film with all these twists and turns i would think it was exaggerated.
Where next?
So who is the new management.
Zaza has gone, he was one of the biggest shareholders
IF Hope and OMF are new management, it would mean new owners have purchased company
( purchased as in received assets for debt)
I really hope this positivity here real, but can someone explain why we are so assured.
This is not me being negative, just been away almost all 2021 with huge workload and before i left this was looking rather bleak.
Money now or soon would be most welcome
Been stupidly busy with work
Can some one give a brief update where we are.
No rose tinted specs, just the facts and where any news may have come from.
I woke up early to check if Zaza had been and left the presents
Seems it was just Santa again.
Best wishes to you all, have a good Christmas and we still have our health (Shame about our Wealth)
Clutching at straws here but
Is the YA debt held for payment before the Outrider Debt?
Could YA pushing for payment be the final nail in Hope ETC actually receiving anything unless they agree restructure with FRR.
YA in effect pushing in front of Hope for the crumbs left if FRR is doomed to failure.
Hence forcing Hope to negotiate further as it would be curtains for him.
I know some like Mole will know the debt structure, i am fairly sure YA were in front of the queue.
Sat in the shadows waiting for news
Do not be scared of the big boys thou
I took a multimillion pound company an won
Currently taking on a foreign company where they settled out of court, although still waiting to see the colour of my money on that one.
Its never easy, but people think they are too small to fight a big company.
I took first one on my own and won.
Second one is a group of 40 people, we did no win no fee ( actually cost £200 to start) then 10% of what we get back. However i get 8 years interest and compensation which probably covers the 10%
With lawyers involved, the company decided to talk, and settle out of court.
So if we need it, we evaluate the full situation. However for now we hold on to hope, as that is easiest way to get our money back. Either SN and Zaza are in a worse situation than us, or we need know a few more facts.
For now it's more patience, until we reach full clarity.
I got too much to do today to be on here arguing, only popped in as my name was used.
Can i suggest you use your time now to plan actions for a number of the possible bad scenarios.
Such as
Who is accountable, why and when.
What info was withheld or misleading, evidence and who is the person or company responsible.
Where could Sh's find money as compensation
Any entities who have acted illegally immorally or illegally.
Chance of a basis for a case? Chance of success of any case and also chance of finance being available if other party lost case.
These things i hope we never need, but after the large lady has sung ( if she is in the house) these things put together as files and assessed would make a great starting point for the group to consider any possible actions.
Negativity now is not overly helpful, same for excessive positivity. Fact is we are in a dark place with little orientation, what way are we facing and travelling?, who is with us?
Its up to you, but if you put a worst case portfolio together and made it available if it comes to that, you would have my backing.
I can tell you, i have looked into it, unfortunately what i have, suggests if this goes, my money goes without recourse. Just maybe you have a different road.
"Says the 'person' who excitedly informed me he had made a complaint to me to the FCA about me. Then he went very quiet. Sums it up"
I hope that is not aimed at me as i certainly have not said or implied anything like that EVER. You have me mistaken for someone else. Feel free to go right through my posting history.
It's not and still not accurate or true. Your not worth the time, so uneducated and i would be wrong in taking this further, as you really are just a child looking to cause division and arguments on a BB. I never go on the old MTV, TXO boards as its finished. So if your so sure this is 100% gone why are you here? I honestly do not get that.
I have turned the stones over, i have many theories on what could or have gone on. More than i have voiced publicly on here. I have not got any evidence that this was some elaborate scam. It feels more like possible bad management and the Jury are still out on that.
If you have any ideas if / when we get to the end of the road, You can then share them, maybe even some useful thoughts on how to progress. However right now we are in limbo, we need clarity where this goes before we can react.
People have every right to have positivity whilst a glimmer of hope remains, no one here has any idea what the company is trying or not trying to achieve. Do i think i have lost my money here ? Probably. Only when the curtain comes down can i draw a line under it and see if any course of action is appropriate and likely to have a positive outcome for SH's.
You missed the point, stop using other peoples names in your arguments, keep it between you and the person your arguing with, especially when mis-quoting or misleading with my name.
Also you need to retract the comment that i am a fireman, i am not and such accusations or assumptions need to be removed and you need to get into 21st Century.
Starage, do not bring me into your arguments. Lets set that misleading comment right.
What i said, and some people agreed with, was that we look at every option when the time is right.
If this goes bad, if something smells bad about it then maybe we look at other options.
However let me also make it clear that with wrong doings at MTV TXO and GKP nothing was ever done.
Thats not suggesting FRR have or have not done anything wrong, but if or when the large lady sings we will evaluate the situation.
As fir what i do for a living why are you making something out of that? Perhaps you can share something good that you have done for the last 31 years.
If not perhaps you could do something good today , may i suggest leaving this BB may be a good start. A good thing is not about doing something that make your life better, it's doing something that makes other's lives better. So my suggestion really would be something good that you could do.
Thanks Mole
That pretty much clears up where we are and highlights the risks for us as shareholders. I did not see that type of restructure so its opened my eyes a bit.
I actually enjoyed those shareholder meetings in London and meeting many of you from on here and the other place. Some great characters who were all in the same boat.
My gauge throughout all this has been your stance, where others dreamed of Majors and sell off you seemed very cautious and that really did keep my feet on the ground.
I take a little positivity from your post, but feel that you are still swayed towards this not going our way more than us coming out smelling of roses.
I believe this was a real business opportunity but circumstances and greed got in the way. Most likely some bad management decisions too.
All i can suggest is if we do see us lose as shareholders, we should all still meet up after Covid, for the Wake of FRR. So either way we all have that one last drink together to discuss, moan and share our stories.
tmhsdx6 no not yet, but may be significant amount here.
However as you seem a little uneducated i will explain a bit more, i am not blaming anyone.
Aim is a vehicle to finance up starting business to allow a business to attempt to get a foothold
It is high risk V high gain ... Correct?
So investors are financing a business to try to become a profitable business in a global market where failure is as likely as profit. The risk being company product, service or concept fails to make a mark on the market and fails to generate a profit. Thats excepted by all investors.
However today in aim and for last 10 years plus, we have had a new type of business, the scam.
This is where a business makes a concept or dream with little to no effort to actually get to the end game. The only plan is to pay huge wages and bonus to CEO and BOD. This includes high bonuses, sometimes in millions for poor performance. A company can lose a million in 12 months, and pay 500K to CEO with a 1m Bonus? Where does that money come from? Placings and investors. There is no incentive for a BOD to get a profit from a business as they make huge profits even if its failing. That is a scam.
Lets give some examples where i was lucky and got out with small loses.
GKP - TK fails to tell market about selling shares, until all sold. Information came to light after court case win that all was not as as thought and communicated, TK got out lining his pockets and taking all shareholders money with him. £2.40 to 10p in weeks.
MTV and their disruptive technology, was it a real business concept or fake cash cow? It may have been real once but technology overtook it whilst they were still flogging a dead horse. Bad management or scam ?
TXO This was beautiful, Oil slops recovery, had all the green environmental cards too. New tank farm in Bahamas, the amazing barge " Martha" . They also invested the company money (shareholders cash) in 2 private companies.
I did some digging,
The tank farm was a computer simulation and nothing actually built
The barge Martha was a rusty barge that was scrap metal value at best
Then the two private companies, Millions invested in them promising TXO shareholders this would benefit the company with profit sharing from the two companies. I did some digging, The BOD owned the two private companies. They both thrived as companies after TXO was closed down - shareholders basically financed their private nest egg companies.
Now if you think any of them are right then your really not that bright!
Aim needs tighter regulation with protection for investors, this includes limiting bonus for BOD of companies not in profit and can only be within a percentage of profit generated.
Limiting wages of CEO and BOD to a set amount and above only when in profit and a limit to percentage of profit.
Without better regulation the investing in AIM will dry up and ability for genuine new companies will be limited.
I do not mind a risk, research but like
