Not sure what Koovs has got to do with vehicle companies in India. No doubt that India is slowing down, but 6% growth is still something the West can only dream about!!
You talk about Jockey India with its negative growth- now let's talk about KOOVS!
Q4 growth of 67% (not bad!)
Q1 growth of 104% (pretty good!)
So using your argument, KOOVS is doing SPECTACULARLY!!!!!
Kishore Biyani calls all the shots with Koovs, lets not pretend otherwise. He changed the terms & conditions of the 15p placing at the last minute to suit himself & Koovs management were too weak to challenge him.
The warehouse debacle which saw the CEO Mary Turner take over 2 months to sort out was her final failure as far as I am concerned.
Watch this space...…
The AGM next week will be interesting. Also interesting to see what management turn up. Only Turner & Pursell (CFO) bothered to turn up at the EGM in June.
With the right management team in place, Koovs can do well in India
Christsian Westphal has a specific job to do & not sure if he has CEO credentials (a bit like the current one Mary Turner).
She has failed spectacularly in India (SP 80P TO 6P, together with mass dilution).
The largest shareholder Kishore Biyani's Future Group is not going to tolerate this. He has quietly sat back over the last 12 months, watching how they have run this company.
Personally, I believe this will be Mary Turner's last AGM as CEO. To be fair, she has forfeited £200k of her £250k salary every year, so they might keep her on in some kind of advisory role to safeguard her options.
I would not be surprised to see Kishore's daughter Avni Biyani take on the CEO role. She is young, dynamic & has all the connections in India. Already doing a great job leading Foodhall.

Koovs have just employed Christian Westphal as the new Chief Creative Officer. He comes from Aditya Birla Fashion who dwarf Future Group. He was Vice President & Creative Director there.
This is a huge step forwards for Koovs in India & shows commitment. I'm sure we'll see a step up in collaborations, ads & an increase in media/ social media exposure.
Just a shame that Koovs don't see fit to rns this, or The PR firm Newgate Communications who have done very little, if anything since March not promoting this.
I'm not sure if Newgate Communications are even tied in with Koovs anymore. They don't bother engaging with shareholders or replying to any emails. Koovs need to look for a more established & professional PR company.
Good to see a spike not being immediately sold into for a change, with the Amazon/ Future Group deal now confirmed.
If the management had any sense here, they would try & build on the momentum with some kind of funding news. We are still waiting for the first of the 28p tranches to fall into place.
AWBA- why are you putting up stuff from a private chat group posted by Pascha- the guy who got banned from here for his constant lying? What was the point of that?
As Jambon rightly points out, there are 28,000 orders processed every week & rising. They moved warehouse & there will be disruptions. Several complaints aren't the end of the world.
Do you guys know of any other companies that posted Q1 sales up 104%, I don't!
SR & Kong- you both thinking of buying back in? A good entry point IMHO
Myntra App
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myntra.android&showAllReviews=true
I have looked at reviews for many other Apps & they all follow the same pattern, so for a particular poster to just post one side of the story, shows that his personal vendetta against Koovs continues.
So to balance the argument, let's look at Koovs main competitor Myntra & the reviews on its App.
Firstly, the reviews are appalling.
Secondly, it looks like the Indians are using this platform to complain, when in fact they should be rating the APP.
All in all, a few complaints a week aren't bad for over 4000 orders per day!!
As a traveller to India, let me tell you that they ALL speak English, it's virtually their first language. I am always amazed at their standards of English. Indians value their Education, they want to progress & the country is modernising super fast.
As for a few complaints on social media, considering they now process 4000 orders per day, there will be a few slip ups.
I notice that the poster with the personal vendetta against Koovs is back after getting booted out for lying, but now has to pay to post LOL! Why not post complaints for Myntra, Jabong, Boohoo etc??
Loads of positive news out there today with regards to Koovs largest shareholder Future Group & Indian retail legend Kishore Biyani

You seen the new Whitman Howard broker note? You on Twitter?
Jambon- I know you are interested here, but after this stunt, they have totally shafted shareholders. Move on mate, there are better retailers out there.
There's a little one in India gaining traction with Q1 sales growth of 104% if you're interested......
As Koovs largest shareholder raises $79 million, the Amazon deal with Future Group is still ON!

With Q1 collapsing to 23% this is all that Sosander needs!
https://www.retailgazette.co.uk/blog/2019/07/river-island-launch-new-brand-attract-older-age-group/
River Island is launching a new womenswear brand called Harpenne, which will focus on appealing to an older age group.
The fashion retailer said the new brand, due to launch in September, will fill a “gap in the market”.
What a disaster!
Cobra- myself & Jambon have been pushing for quarterly updates for quite some time now. I'm glad they finally listened.
I can confirm that the AGM will be held at Newgate Communications on Thursday 5th September

Yes, Koovs have now had two quarters of excellent growth both in sales & in margins.
Q1 was spectacular, 104% increase in sales & margins up to +21%
I have heard from two investors that brokers were after their shares, one holds over 1 million shares.
There is definitely a buyer now in the market. There is a roadshow this week for Institutions too!
Hardman & Co are extremely bullish now & released this report last week- well worth a read
https://www.hardmanandco.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Koovs-FY19-results-July-2019.pdf
err, ok- now can you say that in English please? You can use Google translate, but not sure if they can translate gimplish...
Yes Spencer, got quotes to sell 500,000 shares all day long! There's definitely a buyer about.
It's only a matter of time. Not long now Jambon!!
