I will wait for a bit at least to ex divi.

Looking for an entry level.

Maybe low to mid forties.

Ex divi is after the budget will probably wait till then.

I am looking to get back in here and was waiting for the results. As mentioned the overheads are a drag but I don’t think online will ever be big with type of company. So will sit on the fence for a bit.

I might be lucky and pick some up for a £1.

The P.E ratio is now very high.

My holdings in BP,GSK and ABX , I purchase on monthly subscription. They all pay divi on a quarterly basis which is a nice income stream, hence I really do not want to pay a premium for them.

Basically it averages out over time.

My tech stocks I do indeed keep an eye on.

I also have a substantial holding in Bae which I have held for 25 years and although they don’t pay quarterly divi I always regarded them as safe.

More than happy with the current SP, generates a decent yield. Would not be interested in 6.5 or more.

More of a problem is the high £ against $.

In fact the recent strength has eroded the recent increase in the divi.

Tend to agree with Shore Capital on there view that tools such as Copilot will be a big driver for Sofcat in the future

Happy to pay £4.50 on my monthly subscription, also like the share buybacks at good value.

All in all things look balanced.

However you can’t please everyone.

Let’s hope the company maintain the dividend.

If the RI is attractive will probably take some.

Fortunately for long term holders the stresses of the Stock market are nearly over. You will keep your holdings for many years without the volatility experienced in the past few years.

It will be interesting to see if they list again in 5-10 years time and what the offering will be.

For now though it’s a dead rubber.

My view on this is mixed.

Although I agree that Buy Backs in the long term save the company money. The dividend is equally important and the yield is what attracts me along with the income stream on a quarterly basis.

Not really bothered about the SP, could be £4, £5 or £6 . I am happier to buy at £4 and yes you can make money selling high but as many know easier said than done.

Filtronic (FTC) is another. A good solid company with the fundamentals to deliver in this current global economic environment.

It’s not about the SP anymore it’s about how many stores will survive. It would be a shame for the brand to disappear.

We’ll see in a few years after the restructuring what is left. Some investors may well break even at the current value.

Until interest rates drop the SP won’t move as with all REITs.

Your right a CVA would be the only option.

Hundreds of millions in liabilities and even with a Rights Issue of say 5pence a share which is only a pin prick to keep the franchise going for a few months. There’s only one way to go or it’s over.

Well the SP is finally above £15.34.

We should be on a steady climb from now on.

The liabilities are way too high. An application for CVA is possible. This gives the Company up to 5 years to completely restructure, to keep trading and protect some jobs.

15 mill is a reasonable figure. Jack Wills was bought for 12 mill, although they were a much smaller outfit they had a good brand reputation.

The problem with SDRY it’s far to big with a lot of duplication and huge liabilities that will cost a lot to mope up.

15 pence sounds about right, maybe 20 pence at a push.
