'cLEWless' reserves are reserves mate - the rest is unproven. The reserves are 1m oz (fact!). Also 'potential' profit is simply that - potential. Anyone with any sense that has been watching HUM over the last couple years will know that potential counts for next to nothing because they can not deliver. A new CEO might possibly turn things around at Kou but that is months away. As for Yan it is a spent mine and will now be a millstone around the company's neck. Probably best to sell it for peanuts just to get rid.

It is being sold for peanuts and as I keep saying once it is sold HUM will have lost two thirds of its reserves for circa £30m. It will have 600k oz at Kou and 400k oz at Yan which leaves it a tin pot AIM outfit. Furthermore, they don't have the money to expand the resource and the best they can do (if that) is to replenish the small amounts are are being mined.

Soon be back in the 5p range by the look of things.

It doesn't pay to bury your head in ramper's sand. The only light at the end of the tunnel here is that a new CEO might turn this listing ship around, but that is many months away, probably. You better hope that Betts somehow keep the lights on in the meantime.

Not long now before the damage to the bottom line is revealed when the Q3 results are published. Losses will have been piling up. If HUM can't find someone daft enough to loan them even more money (already sinking in debt whilst making further losses) then a placing is very much on the cards.

Where are you getting $50m from or is it wishful thinking? The price is $75m which at 53% equals $39.75m to HUM before expenses/taxes.

What should be concerning people is despite HUM just having raised $30m and likely to get a further $30m from Dugbe in the near future, they are still looking at further fund raising options. A big red flag. Be careful folks this is not looking good and is for gamblers only.

Why would the sale increase the sp?! It is being sold off for peanuts, leaving HUM with a pathetic excuse for a reserve (one million oz between TWO mines). And all it will do will help pay off the latest of their loans and make a small debt in their debt mountain. This is NOT a good deal at all.

Yep, Q3 will certainly deliver 'a stinker'. I suspect a big drop will come when those are released!

Last year the Q3 results came out on 26th October so could be a few weeks before the next Betts bombshell is dropped. If it comes out on a Friday it will be seriously bad as he loves to try to lessen the impact of bad news by releasing it on a Friday.

Anyone on the verge of being taken in by the resident rampers would do well to wait at least until the Q3 results are out. Why? They will be an absolute horror show and I have another 20%+ fall pencilled in for that day. The results will also provide some clarity as to whether a placing will be needed here.

Nobody with any sense would try to buy HUM out. The company is sinking in debt and the reserves are pathetic once Dugbe is sold for peanuts (about 1 million oz between two mines). Yan is a spent mine - the easy stuff has been used up already and it is likely to be a millstone around HUM's neck going forward. So far they can't make Kou work (for whatever) reason but it is early days. Given the pitiful resources, if someone is daft enough to buy it, it will only be a small cap company that tries. No medium or big player would touch this.
