Yep, not sure the last move worked out too well. He would have been better staying in MTL. Main difference is that we have a 5 million+ oz project in Nic being built and all paid for out of free cash flow, whereas THX may or may not get extensions to the mine life.

Ticking up again. Will we see 18p ahead of Q2? THX have just released their's (excellent). The average realised gold price was around $3187 for the quarter, so that gives an indication for of what MTL have achieved.

If drachs has simply been buying Jim Mellon's shares you would expect the buys/sells to have a fairly neutral impact on the sp, so I suspect there is more to the rise than that. Darren has been getting the message out there well recently resulting in strong demand for MTL shares.

I don't think so slippery. Drachs may well take it up to 29.9%. Next few days should throw some light on it..
