Indeed, and to think CNR was above £2 when gold last reached its high of c. $1900. Yes, there has been some dilution since but the current sp is a bit of a joke frankly. It just needs punters to start buying up junior gold stock again due to the rising POG and shares such as CNR, HUM and CORA will explode.

HUM and gold doing well again today so it is time for CORA to do some catching up. Great story here but for now it remains off most punters' radars. This is one of the better junior goldies out there IMO.

Nice steady rise continues with gold up too. 30p should happen next week if gold holds or gains.

Yeah they are coining it! Based on the last quarter they could do 135,000oz pa at $767 profit per oz (AISC $849) = $103 million pa profit. Not bad at all.

27p on the Ask now - 30p here we come!

4 x 40k buys have moved the bid up. Hopefully the start of a decent move up now the sells have been completed?

Given the spread I suspect that buys are around 26.5p and sells are at just above 26p - hence the lack of movement in the sp. Probably still a seller lurking and once cleared this will jump.

24p on the Ask now so a very decent rise so far today. Perhaps gold being over $1600 is bringing a few more punters in?

A decent but at 27p - could be in for a decent rise now following a brief consolidation.

ElectricLion, they do have some debt but aim to be net debt free by the end of this year. They had some problems with the rainy season and a weakened pit wall early last year which hit the sp badly but since then all has been going swimmingly. The main weakness is the life of mine. They have a current five year mine plan just released but they are also targeting a further 1 million oz through drilling which is probably underway or starting shortly and also they own a chunk of CORA who own nearby concessions and they should be able to process ore from there in due course.

Moving up nicely again, now 22/23p. Timed that buy well!

That said I've just added 22800 and caused the bid to rise to 21.5!

Wondergoals, even success in this field doesn't guarantee a better/fair sp unfortunately. Look at HUM, who built a mine on time and on budget and are now churning out 120k oz pa at AISC of around $800 for a profit of circa $96m pa at the current gold price. Despite that the sp is only very slowly moving up and is still well below the 40p when the mine was completed. Unfortunately AIM gold shares continue to under perform woefully. So even if CNR start producing a bit I wouldn't expect fireworks, more likely to be a damp squib!
