They have been at it five years the transformation plan what a not funny joke, the stakeholders, first employees, us share holders and customers have had enough more than enough time to get rid of lazy stupid management.
Yellow ofo bikes going to Leeds next, wonder if a run away success there. Only Summer will really tell . First better pull their finger out quickly and get their act together or they'll lose customers in Leeds.
Looks like Sheffield people are getting on bikes and leaving the bus behind, can't say I blame after seeing the state of the buses they send out and the video of the vile cameraman. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.thestar.co.uk/news/sheffield-set-to-get-hundreds-more-yellow-scan-and-ride-ofo-bikes-as-scheme-proves-big-hit-in-city-1-9017047/amp
London Stock Exchange FIRSTGROUP APPOINTS EX-REXAM FINANCE HEAD DAVID ROBBIE NON-EXECUTIVE [ 02 Feb 2018 14:19 ] LONDON (Alliance News) - FirstGroup PLC on Friday appointed David Robbie independent non-executive director and audit committee chair of the transport firm with immediate effect. Robbie - a chartered accountant - will bring a "wealth of financial, accounting, strategic and corporate finance experience and skills" to the FTSE 250-listed firm. Robbie most recently served as finance director of can-maker Rexam PLC, prior to its GBP4.3 billion acquisition by US peer Ball Corp in 2016. He also served as non-executive of the BBC between 2006 and 2010 and served as the state broadcasters audit committee chair. "I am delighted to welcome David to the board of FirstGroup and I am confident that his significant experience across a range of sectors will be of immense value to the board," FirstGroup Chairman Wolfhart Hauser said. Robbie will replace Richard Adam - both as non-executive and audit committee chair - who declared his intention to resign in September 2017. By Ahren Lester; ahrenlester@alliancenews.com. This is from another investor website Re: Oh dear Interactive Investor client Pleased to see he has finally been removed with immediate effect. Overall can't believe this one is back near £1 a share again. Are transport stocks getting dragged down with outsourcing companies, they do have a lot in common really! Looks cheap to me, once debt renegotiated could be a good time. Thanks Philip More Respond Login to Vote up Neighbourhood Watch 01-02-18 Re: Oh dear marktime1231Interactive Investor client You have hit the right note there about financial controls. One of the jobs of group finance is to ensure strong financial controls across reporting entities ... if you know the systems and procedures are sound then so should the data be. You test, improve and enforce the controls by internal and external audit, under a programme of review set by the audit committee. Adam should have been accountable with Emma Mercer his long serving Controller and recently interim CFO making it all happen. Except the Insolvency Service are finding a dreadful mess, unable to get a clear picture even with Mercer strapped in. Adam was running a shambles, who recommended him to FGP? FGP have been really stupid, the whole point of non-execs is to put up reassuring people who are competent and command the trust of shareholders. As you say it raises questions about the judgment of the chair and board, they pick the wrong guy AND ignore the distrust of shareholders. Not just Adam who should go.
I wish I had bought in stagecoach rather than useless first group sorry worst group. The antics of their cleaning staff in Sheffield is mind blowing. It looks a little gem sgc made me look a right wally buying worst.
What's betting share price back under a quid this week first board directors couldn't even spell shame their repugnant.
Go go go Dominator well said lovely video absolute awesome still men of steel in Sheffield. Bring pressure to bear on dodge Dave and fumbling. You got my vote Sir.
Look at this article dennisdominator first pulled out of lothian Scotland, new operator in lothian gets passengers numbers up 30%. Sounds like get rid of useless management in Sheffield and you guys could turn it around. Probably need to get rid of Fearnley too, for a Sheffield lad he should thoroughly ashamed of that man making videos. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.scotsman.com/news/opinion/alastair-dalton-our-favourite-form-of-public-transport-is-in-trouble-1-4621850/amp
They are in freefall without a parachute damning indication of new management and there transformation plans. They are a laughing stock of village idiots at the helm. So First Manchester and FIrst South Yorkshire are on life support from the group about time dim o' fool switched it off. Beaware thanks for info ; think your right dodgy dave and lowlife cameraman of floor mopping making these catastrophic decisions . I have never seen such dereliction of duty in management in my life. content://media/external/file/9570 content://media/external/file/9571
I think the only person who needs to be on the bike is that sewer mouthed cameraman of floormoppers in Sheffield. And perhaps take with him the philistine just as lazy first group management with him.
Dim o' fool was the wrong American man for the topman job at worst group. Sir Lockhead should have taken on Donald Trump he knows what Sh*t holes are and sorts them out.
