The ex divi date was the 26.03.2020 so the share price has already dropped 8p on this date, surely they wouldn't drop the price by 8p again?

shouldn't the price rise by 8p now because they are keeping a hold of the money?

I have never come across a share where it has gone ex divi and then cancelled so confused to hell.

This is a bit of a weird one.

I have googled this and cannot find an answer.

like you say i think the price should go up by 8p as it sounds like ex divi reversal

Should be good for the share price tomorrow

I would doubt many have a average share price as of today so watch out with the mark down at open, it should recover quite quickly

However, the Bank said it did not expect the money to be needed, noting that the banks had more than enough money in reserve to deal with both a global recession and a shock in the financial markets.

So they are going to keep it and do what with it?? Why would anyone even bother investing in banks after another PPI style screw you investors and anyone with a pension

I'm sure I phone users would have a problem with this!!
The amount apple charge why are they not manufactured in the states? No wonder why the company is one of the most valuable companys in the world

True mate but did you see how they rallied rite at the end of play? Have a look at the charts and how they closed!! RBS got marked down after 2 extensions Lloyd's got marked down also

Probably why Lloyd's dropped the most as all other banks have gone ex divi!!

Bad news for those invested for the Divi but probably good for the share price!! Hope we see a rise tomorrow based on holding onto the capital

My bad was looking for an RNS to tell us the bad news.
Who's going to sell? Most have a higher buy in price so would expect the price to go up tomorrow based on that news
