I'm beginning to think the witholding amount outstanding might now be wrapped up with the farm-out/sale negotiations especially now we have the MOU with PC. Given the length of time they are taking, it's fair to conclude that the potential sums involved aren't piddling ones. Just a hunch.

I think the farm-out or sale will happen and be hugely beneficial to our company so I'm holding and adding. I also think with our current production, a tweak at H1 and 2 to up their rates, a positive test at Gobi, potential tranches of income arriving from Sunsteppe, the backing of Petrovis that we could indeed go it alone if we had to. Moreover, I don't fear any fundraise as it would be totally accretive as the last one was and oil is much better placed for investment now than it was last time as fossils fuels are now again seen as very much part of the future, especially in the region we are operating in. Double our share count and I still only need a 40 mill Mcap to break even. I like those numbers.

Moreover, if you have such doubts about the farm-out, you should direct your queries to the company. Nobody here can give you answers in this regard. What we know for sure is that one counterparty is still doing its due diligence and that they understand how 'lucrative' Block XX could be. That'll do for me. Is it certainty? No. But if you want certainty then AIM isn't for you.

Having said all that, if we had to go it alone, albeit slowly, then we could do that and keep hold of the asset for ourselves.

If you fear the farm-out won't happen, then you should sell. As far as I'm concerned we have a proposal under discussion, we are making money, we have Sunsteppe looking to monetise assets in the short-term, we have Gobi test to come, we are looking to farm-out Block VII already, we have H2 flowing and are working on improving the rate to bring it onstream, we have a MOU with our large neighbours, we have the backing of Petrovis and the Mongolian government, we have an asset of many millions of barrels, we have NO DEBT, and our market cap is 15million quid!!

As an investment case for an AIM oiler that's pretty decent. However, if you are looking for certainty then AIM isn't for you.
