Makes you wonder whether they themselves believe in the assets - AB aside, of course: his lack of open-market buying strongly intimates a lack of faith, which, based on JP’s insulting comments on us earlier this year, should provoke JP to label him as a heretic.

Perhaps the following post is proof that all supposed joint-venture discussion are dead in the water, and seems we’ll be waiting at least another year for any deal to conclude - it at all.

Without optimism, there is no hope - and vice versa; I believe, I believe, I believe - in my own naïveté in believing in the BoD to furnish us investors with any uplift in the company’s value; all the while, they’ve been sitting around, waiting for market-conditions to favour our assets rather than possessing any ability - let’s face it: they certainly have the capacity - to broker smart, mutually beneficial deals with partners. I remain perplexed at the silence on the Cornwall Council grant for Redmoor since they mentioned it a few times earlier this year: it would not be churlish to infer that it would no longer be a source of funding.

Redmoor, Your post nails it - on our heads: yet again, JP’s bombastic interviews, in the nascent part of this year, strongly suggested news on Redmoor and LC would be received within Q1, or thereabouts; and, yet, close to the end of Q2, still no news that would materially prompt a major re-evaluation of this company’s valuation. Based on poor past performance, news will probably be next year.

The content of those interviews is contrived to avoid the difficult questions on how to fund Redmoor. Best to view them sceptically until the BoD can articulate a timetable on how and when they can feasibly commercialise its value.

Sammy, The hype has not stopped at SML: they still publicly drool over Redmoor’s polymetallic resources - but without any understanding on how to monetise the area: they still await a Cornwall council grant and/or funding via a third party - without which, we continue with the jam-tomorrow approach, that of the last seven-plus years, yet starting from a significantly devalued share-price.

Anyone else noticed the deafening silence on the perma-imminent - a term equally applicable to an LC partnership for funding - Cornwall council grant for Redmoor? Based on SML’s self-imposed media-muzzling on said topic, investors might intuit it as a failure: perhaps the application has been thrown down a mine-shaft - and buried, never to resurface.

Non-RNS-based Interviews released by the company strongly indicate PR-spinning before the AGM - now, all that’s missing is a self-congratulatory one from the poly-chairman Alan Broome.

And for the rest of the BoD, particularly the infamous Alan Broome, sitting around without investing his own money in the company while happily accumulating a handsome remuneration.
