I'd be extremely surprised if Astra Zeneca take us out, not really their bag. That being said a perfect opportunity for them to pretty much dominate the diagnostic market and maintain incredible production power.

If not AZ I think we will certainly be on the radar of a few - Roche is my bet!!

I think it's important to remember too that these 'Deals' are to suit both parties..

The other 2 companies may be giving their tests away to the UK Gov with minimal profit in order to raise awareness of their company..

We are not in that position and if UK Gov are screwing us down on the numbers then why sign a deal when you can sell fewer numbers at much higher profit and still have the reassurance of selling everything that we can produce!!

Our tests (and future tests) are in high demand (Gold Standard) and at the end of the day we are a business that is here to make as much profit as possible.

All of the above is not to say we wont secure some of the tender but i do think we need to think outside the box here and look at the bigger picture.

All the Covid stocks you have mentioned there have done well over the past 4-5 months apart from GDR although I believe they will have their moment..
