I'm not in the Telegram group currently, I was there a while back on a burner so I can't really comment what it's about at this moment. You might declare it "public" and anyone can join but surely it's a closed group by definition because it's not something you can access without admission?

And as such, if people share things that might be sensitive within such a group, perhaps there is a bond of trust there that means you don't blab on a public forum that X said this and Y said that because you've seen it in a closed group.

Or perhaps I miss the point of a closed forum completely? Who knows these days?! The world and its people have gone utterly bonkers

Oddly I posted that the board backed the offer to avoid going hostile a couple of days ago but my post has gone missing. Somebody even queried me on it too and that's gone.
