Hi Mickey and all
I managed to speak with Mark today. Nothing price sensitive was mentioned.
1) On India - Patience is the key
Mickey, as per the final paragraph of your post on Sunday at 23.36, it is very important for PAT to ensure that the JV partner is the "right one" who will assist in the end goal in India which we all know very well - Therefore, in PAT's case, it is very much unlike getting a JV partner in a "normal business situation" and so patience is the key here. Watch this space.
2) On Basaalla
We all know that the intersections here are quite long. What you are seeing here with an AC drill is what you would normally encounter with an RC drill. This is clearly very beneficial to PAT which is due to the disseminated (if that's the right word) structure of the rock (unlike in the case of Kalaka) and a very important point for all to take note.
3) Kalaka
We are awaiting results of an AC drill which is a shallow surface one say only 30m. However, two very important points to remember here are:
(a) with the say 30m AC drill on surface, unlike in Basalla, you can only get restricted intersections.
(b) the purpose of AC drill here is to scoop as it were the top surface of the rock body laying below the 30m. This is then followed by extensive RC drill.
Subject to travel restrictions being lifted, chance possibly to see him in London early next year!!!
