The question which is going on in my mind, and I hope someone can contribute to, is when the Heneti drill results were announced, the RNS from LC was very scant whilst the RNS from our JV partner, Paul, was more detailed to the extent even stating that the drill results showed the expected geological model (or something to that effect).

The other question in my mind is why did Christian Schaffalitzky, who was working as a consultant Geologist for Katoro, gave his resignation? Was he not required anymore once LC came to know that the area is full of Nickel/Gold/PGM and CS became surplus to requirement.

If they had any price sensitive news they would have realesed it immediately as all companies are required under the stock market rules.

Indeed the news say he is asking for the lifting off the sanctions. Obviously if agreement is reached this should be excellent catalyst for POG to get out of this mess

Nathan, I agree. The Russians are hinting to let the grains through so some sort of peace deal in the making - hoping some sort of news on this front soon. POG might not have to even think about divesting anything nor forming a JV.

If that's the case then I think it has to be good news that they are holding onto as might be forming strategy for the next leg up and putting everything in one RNS (LC is saving every penny).

I think any application to the ANTIMONOPOLY takes a few months before it's replied to. If that's the case and sanctions are off which l believe will happen, POG can show the door to UMMC

I think that the Antimonoply division will also look at the series of transactions. I.e. were the loans assigned by GPB to UMMC to simply enable the latter to get hold of the assets on the cheap. If that was indeed the intention, there is no way UMMC will be able to lay its hands on the gold

If we get anything like the other mining company which has 58million tonnes @2.5% nickel- that is roughly 1.5 million T of pure nickel and that's 1,450,000,000 Kilos Nickel. The market value per kilo is roughly $25
That gives $36B less costs who know but say 50% - that would still give $18B over life time of the mine

However, Katoro has observed not 2.5% nickel but over 12% nickel
