looking only on the lse site for reported trades it would appear that the volume traded has been suppressed for a while.
Looks like the market has found a balance price where people are neither looking to buy or sell in great numbers.

people looking to buy will tell you the target price is as low as they think they can get away with and not be universally laughed off the board.
people looking to sell will tell you the target price is as high as they think they can get away with and not be laughed off the board.

people who understand the share will give you a reason they have a direction of SP travel, they may even give an indication on timescale. They may give trigger points, and 'what if ...' analysis for scenarios.

Those that really know what is going on often post nothing to give away the game on a public board.

not quite ready to agree with you yakee, too many investors holding the SP up for it to be junk just yet.
I don't think it will see a hard slide much before Nov/Dec 19.
that is not to say it will not be drifting down between now and then.

I have said before every day invested here now is a day closer to the binary outcome. Every day that passes increases the chance that tomorrow is the RNS day. However there comes a point in time where BPC runs out of time. I have in my mind calendar year end as my date.
I have a SP figure in my head for various play points but they are all so heavily dependant on the terms of any deal that they are no more than speculation on my part of some 'what ifs'
I play a bit of a (pointless) nerd game in terms of multiple bell curve price models and take a view on where I think we are.
I say pointless as I am not looking to take action, I will if SP dips significantly between now and my ever moving mid point date on the curve and crosses a threshold level that also moves daily.

To be honest it is all far to complex for me to justify doing but it makes me feel better about spending time thinking about BPC when I could be doing more useful things.

Off to the old town for a brew and an ice cream - far more useful...well, it is all relative.

options as I see them, if you are sat on a paper profit now you can either:
1. sell out and walk away happy with the extra coins in your pocket.
2. sell out and keep watching - either be smug and gloat if SP drops or regret selling if SP flies.
3. sit and hold - risk losses for the potential to make bigger profits.

Be careful on who you let have first swing. I suspect Dutch is a dark horse and may be more skilled with a bat than most. Potter could be 'outta the park' on your opening £10 leaving an angry mob in an orderly queue.

that is the key issue with BPC.
If we are honest we are all just here for the sandwiches.
cheddar with chilli jam is a nice twist.
roast beef with horseradish is a winner.
but sometimes simple is best, good old fashioned strawberry jam sandwiches, or if things are really in a rush a packet of crisps thrown lovingly between two slices of cheap sliced white.

these are not just sandwiches, these are BPC zero party sandwiches.

that ended as a far more doom and gloom post than it was intended to be.

we are not in the throws of death just yet.

after weeks of treading water the SP has moved a bit.

personal view - opinion not fact.
The SP has a history of dropping on lack of news, something or someone was holding up the SP by hovering up the sells. Suspicion is that this has now stopped and the SP will drift down. Question is where does it stop?
If it holds above 1.5 I will be pleasantly surprised.

depending on timeline of SP drop I may look to add a few more to the trading pot. At this stage any entry point is not set because I will be trying to balance out the risk of zero - if we run out on time - against the potential upside - a deal announced.

In my head the end point for me is December 2019. If at that point we have no news I will not look to add even if the SP is at historic lows.
At that point my trading pot will be consolidated with my holding pot, both will be valued to zero. I will then sit back and watch the sun set on a glorious prospect that could have been.

May I be the first to propose a counter to the historic 87p party.
A zero party.
May not be a glamorous in terms of location.
May need to trade down from vintage bubbles to supermarket vino collapse.
But a chance for all to have a grumble and put BPC behind them.

just a casual observation.

the big million share trades have dried up, is that because the buyer has enough, the buyer has gone to ground, there is something not totally above board going on and there needs to be a gap between position taking and news being released.

As we all know BPC are not able to discuss the previous exclusivity deal because of the NDA in place.
If we are also to believe that there are discussions with other parties also covered by NDA's then BPC will not be able to discuss these.

If and it is a very big if, BPC are confident that one of the parties in discussion now will become an eventual drill partner and that those not in discussion now have in essence ruled themselves out of partnering whilst not a smart move could BPC in theory share an update of parties that they are not in discussions with?

hypothetical of course as it would be most unprofessional and may put other parties off dealing with BPC.

I think as a punishment/incentive potter should forgo one golf bat per month every month from now till the deal is done.
We the LTH should be given the choice in terms of which stick he loses each time.

So the big decision is putter or driver first?
