my guess, uneducated, is that we will bounce around between 1.8 and 2.4 until we get news.
why those numbers?
this is AIM, people not making money today is OK if it is coming tomorrow, if it is not coming for much longer money will move elsewhere. Hence the dip below 2.0 in my guess. Propped up because many LTHs have no plan to sell and no spare cash to buy more having landed hard on the OO.
So why 2.4 on the upside?
Small premium on where we are, in part reflecting a small dip on the pre OO and placing stories.

However, any more of those £500k + buys and there will be a different story, news without news flow.

Hope we are not sat waiting for the next RNS till Christmas.

When I started buying BPC we had arguably the greatest manager in recent history and a side that had recently picked up league title 19.

Now I watch the two teams I do not want to pick up silverware do so by playing the sort of free flowing attacking football I associate with my side from nearly a decade ago. Begrudgingly they deserve to win playing that way. Preferable to winning things playing "anti-football" defensive rubbish.
Time flies when you watch BPC shares or paint dry, peel and get painted again.

I am going to be in your neck of the woods at some point over Christmas, I have family in the area. Not been to the ground before, who knows, if the boys get a hall pass and you have a well timed home game...
We normally head north to a shopping Mecca not a million miles away, drop the shoppers off and head into the steel city. Nomadic football fans of different clubs, getting a game in when the chance is there.
For what it is worth I like United's ground more than Wednesday's it feels as old as time, could benefit from an update but I hope they don't.

same play as mine there Tex. I was a straight up holder, FOMO, didn't want to risk being out when the big news dropped. Then got fed up watching the SP swing up, down, up, down....and eventually added a ring fenced trading pot. That pot is now +40% in shares. I also have a third pot called OO shares. I am not sure yet if I plan to trade these or hold them. going to sit on the fence for a week or two before I decide anything - unless an RNS changes my mind.

There are a good number of people on this BB who are genuine. They have good old fashioned values. Some have the scars of battle from the city, others from many and varied walks of life. Age brings wisdom? Maybe. Maybe not.
What it does bring is experience and often a more mellow less ruthless nature.

There are posters on here that challenge new posters, myself included. Not to be rude but to help understand the genuine from the less genuine.
If we get day traders or for that matter shorters who are genuine and upfront they are as welcome as anyone else. They often bring knowledge and a contrarian viewpoint. It can be hard to hear, it doesn't mean it is wrong.
If you have done the research and have faith it is good to have your faith tested.

I hold a good chunk here, have for more time than I would like but that is what patience is for. I have been critical of the BOD and the bahamian government, the church anything else that brought delays.
I have faith in the prospect I have done amateur level research on the published geology and I like it.
I can't wait to see the results of the first drill, I believe it will happen next spring (late spring/early summer)
I hope some of the shorters out there see the potential in BPC and change track in time. I want them to make money from BPC doing well (pun accidental) because if they make money from success so do I.

I like my answers on a discovery. Low end forecasts work.
High extraction costs. $5 per barrel margin. $10 per barrel margin.
The variables are endless.
If we drill oil we are going to do very well from BPC if we don't...we lose.

BPC has been a long term thing for many of the posters here, we are happy to talk about the risks as well as hopes and dreams. There is no harm in suggesting what you might do if the SP hits 87p (or £1.00).

the only possible negative I can see from the cash raise is for people concerned that with BPC in a stronger position and having a single self funded well option opening up it may reduce the probability of a farm in?
Not sure I agree with that view as BPC had still been stating they have a preference to go down the farm in route.

possible reason but most traders play short term and would not be looking 3 - 5 years ahead.

BPC actually raise 11.4m USD.

4.2m from OO.

Shore were on the hook for 1m USD if the offers were not taken up.
The BOD were on the hook for 0.3m USD.
The placing side of things pulled in 7.2m USD. (could be 8.2m if shore are not in the process)
7.2+1.0+0.3 = 8.5 = target.
8.5 - 1.0 from shore = 7.5.
7.5 - 0.3 from BOD = 7.2.
7.2 plus OO 4.3 (allowing for rounding and fat fingers) = total raised.

could all be co-incidental but I suspect the required 8.5m was already in the bag and the OO was a way for the BOD to show they have listened to LTHs in terms of being involved in raises to cover dilution.

could all be a bunch of tosh on my part.

overall pleased to have taken part in the OO even from the dog house it looks like it was the right move long term, expect to see some selling as people like me look to get back to a balanced position. Not expecting to see SP dip much below 2p or rise much above 2.4p short term without further news flow.

I think the point I was trying to make was unclear.
I have no issue with Shore selling BPC share on the open market at any price where they make a return. If they are able to sell on the open market at a price where they take a profit it shows there is demand for the shares above the OO price.
I would be as happy for Shore to hold the shares to pre spud, post spud, EWT, production. I don't mind where they sell as long as they make good profit.
I don't mind if they make 6, 7, 8, 9 or even the magic 10 digit number on return. Selfishly i hope they get a 10 digit return, it would work well for me - live in hope.
