the SP will not, and indeed cannot be 2p for years.
As Scsiborg points out, next year BPC will be transformational. One way or the other the share price will move quite dramatically.
why?
well, BPC have an obligation to drill, there is a ticking clock on that.
If BPC fail to drill, whilst not the death knell it will cut the SP off at the knees as they will be in breach of their licence obligations. They may negotiate an extension but it will likely come at a hefty price.
If they drill and hit oil then we are into a different ball game, no longer a prospector company.
If they drill and come up empty then things look very bad without having a farm in on the hook.
If they drill and things look interesting but not a productive play, then with a farm in we may get another bite with a better view, without a farm in we are bag to the data room with the begging hat out again. The conversations will be a bit different to now though.
However it plays out, I can almost guarantee that this time in 9 months the SP here will not be 2p +/- 50%.
