I agree with most posters today that our potential upside is a great deal higher than most with our assets and licences . Allowing for our SP of course ...this is after all what we are looking for. It has been tough watching this share slide especially when my average is over .40. But a rising copper price should enable CB to go ahead with our plans for finance and production at Hope Gorob just as soon as the licence arrives . Meanwhile I bought a few more today as the SP and CU prices will eventually go in the same direction. Inshallah. Have a good weekend everybody and lets hope we win the T 20 final on Sunday morning. Although having spent some time in OZ at this time of year i am well aware the weather may well end up with us and ****stan sharing the trophy . seems daft to play the final in the rainiest city during the rainiest month.

If Mr T is in fact also Colin Bird then you have done very well in getting an RNS out so promptly. Well done Snoopdoggy . CB never responds so quickly to the rest of us. But you have extracted a rather mundane RNS about a Mankayan in house agreement with IDM. Perhaps you should be more specific next time and ask Mr T when he is going to give us news of the Hope Gorob licence. This is what we are waiting for.

I don't expect much to happen to our SP until we get news of our mining licence in Namibia Snoop dog.

Smiller You are right that BZT missing out on a lucrative J/V in Cyprus is very disappointing . A lot of time and effort has been wasted but fortunately not any serious cash. Ever since Churchouse left this project has gone sideways and CB is right not to risk shareholders funds if he is uncertain about the risks involved . Our deal was with Martyn Churchouse not the current board and there seems a lot of bad blood between the current board and their predecessors. The loss of the Kalavasos licence and the revelation of a 2million dollar dispute with BMG resources have hardly encouraged confidence.. Nonetheless I hope their shareholders prosper on their own. As they say in Spain Mas vale vivir solo que mal acompanado...

Mr T we are hoping for a call tomorrow and of course the issues at Caerus are going to be top of the agenda.

Snoop . Pls just quote your holdings. We take investors word for the amount. I have invited Kwads to join but he would rather carp from the sidelines. For the record BZT was .36 when he joined us. XTR was around 1.25 and I do not recall what GLR was. Plus he conveniently ignores Jubilee.

It is very disappointing to see the current SP languishing at .06. No doubt delighting all the CB detractors. Long suffering LTH's need a lift and we are trying to get another call through to CB to see how far he is progressing with our J/V partners at Caerus. News of a disagreement precipitated this decline in BZT and Caerus but their SP has recovered dramatically to 5.44 from a low of 1.87 (thats 300% in a week ffs) . Which is all a bit odd...
We could do with a similar boost.

Colin said that the gold content was nearly sufficient at Hope Gorob to allow free mining of the copper.
So, very much economic at current prices hence the urgency in progressing the project. News on this is due pronto.

The Caerus SP is showing some signs of life though way down since the spring. I think CB is going to try to sort out the mess and we are going to delay publishing the notes until we have had another discussion next week. I do not completely share your pessimism on the Cyprus JV although it looks a bit wobbly atm. CB is confident that the venture agreement is legally water tight and any dispute should be remedied through the disputes procedures. Let.s see how this gets resolved over the coming days . The CMRS BOD attitude may be a stumbling block if they do not respond to our chairman's attempts to sort this out . CB has said they are not easy to get hold of. But we know CB is quite persistent. I have bought more shares as whatever happens in Cyprus, Hope Gorob should go ahead as planned and the current SP does not seem to accept this.

My guess is that they are going to be absorbed by their major shareholder. Their EV connection otherwise why would they be bouncing up with all the news of BMG dispute etc

In their latest interim accounts Aussie explorer BMG claims that New Cyprus (90% owned by Caerus) was due to pay them AUD$2million for the remaining 10% of the company. Not a very good deal as the chief asset was Kalavassos whose licence has been cancelled by the MOD. Seems a high price and I understand the reluctance to pay by Caerus new board. Paying AUD$2m would wipe out all their cash reserves.
CB has said that we have the funds available to pay the requested £227,548 by Caerus for BZT share in its exploration budget but given the ructions going on at Caerus with new management ,loss of licences, contingency claims etc I think he is entitled to be wary about handing over BZT funds . These issues can usually be resolved by negotiation not by firing off rant like RNS's and sparking a civil war with previous directors. It is in everybody's interest for this to be resolved . There are agreed dispute resolution procedures but each side has to be prepared to talk and Caerus needs to calm down.
Meanwhile we have much good news due from Hope Gorob but this is being overshadowed.

Incidentally all those sells at.88 are buys. Just in case anybody wants to top up at these low low prices.

Yes Mr T You should be getting news from the latest BAG meeting next week. Pricey is away and will need time to write them up.
Snoop If you think BZT is bad you should look at my M & S shares or Rolls Royce down 60% and 45% this year.
BZT does of course have the chance to multi bag if the key projects in Namibia and Cyprus come off as planned.

A very bearish day for copper and sterling and good to see XTR has not sunk any further. The majors with cash could see this as an opportune moment to pick up assets cheaply. I agree with the view expressed here that the recession can only delay the copper supply crunch by a year or two. So I have started buying XTR again. If only somebody would assassinate the murderous thug in the Kremlin

Didn't intend to annoy you . My pay attention comment was in jest. Anyway as an XTR holder you will be familiar with CBs policy of getting small producers like Manica Fairbride etc to fund large exploration projects like Bushranger. It would be great if something similar could be achieved at BZT with Hope Gorob small mine funding exploration development of a much bigger mine alongside.

Not sure which presentation you are referring to but it may have been the shareholder convention at the QE hall. We had a booth there and LR and CB spoke for a while . I spoke to CB about his original hopes of exploiting Mankayan at the recent AGM and he apologised as he now says it was too big and in an area he was unfamiliar with and he was wrong to assume BZT could handle it. I would not say it was ridiculous. If you are right that he is, lets say overoptimistic then the SP agrees with you and we LTH's should give up and sell out However CB is convinced this is the time for the small miner and our two key projects will be producing next year. If just one of them is producing at the 8-10 k tonnes he predicts then he will prove you wrong and the SP will bounce massively. We have the assay results from Namibia, the mining application has been submitted. The govt want us to mine and the finance has been lined up. So jam may not be far off. He has sunk a lot of his own cash into BZT don't forget. so I for one am travelling hopefully

in our latest Bag call of end July CB said "he was not worried by the prospect of repayment, as come June 2023 the value of the company would be much greater given the size of the mine expected to be found in Namibia. "
Sentiment and the copper price have improved a little since then.
He also said at the AGM that he was still confident that we would be a producer next year in Namibia and Trouilli.
He has lined up the partners we will be dealing with re finance and processing. . None of this is reflected in the SP .
