'6 Million Tonnes PA' is the potential opportunity for QFI in Kuwait!
An excellent study document on the Kuwait opportunity has been published on the forum http://bit.ly/2GRgTLc
Think he's ran out of underpants BP.
Kuwait has a lot of thick MSAR' able residue and a shortage of distillates.
Fits in perfectly https://www.knpc.com/en/strategic-projects/clean-fuel-project-cfp
The report on our excellent visit to QRF is now on the Forum at http://bit.ly/2SSANf9

That is possible with a hybrid scrubber.
No Idea on volumes but with the much cleaner burn of MSAR, it would likely be significantly less and easier to process if discharged at port.
Anyone who traded today (real or dummy) will know there were very few (if any) sells!
FancyLionel why not join the Quadrise Shareholders forum? https://bit.ly/2T9tQCx You'll probably find the answer to your question is already on there, which is probably why nobody has bothered to waste their time here.

NEW CLEAN SHIPPING ALLIANCE 2020 EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR DEFENDS OPEN-LOOP SCRUBBERS
https://www.bunkerspot.com/global/47325-global-new-clean-shipping-alliance-2020-executive-director-defends-open-loop-scrubbers
There has been a lot of loose speculation about the environmental benefits of these systems; conjecture that obscures the fact that exhaust gas cleaning systems have a very-positive net environmental impact on the maritime environment,’ says Ian Adams....
..... I am sure the early installers of scrubber technologies will at some point be considered visionary,’
anyone else?
A great interview with MK I thought. Seemed relaxed and confident. One of the other BOD members please buy the guy a sombrero for when he returns to Saudi though ;-) !
I wonder if, when he was at LSE towers, he mentioned the presence of the inherent 'anti company' Trolls that reside on their QFI share chat? Would have certainly been a perfect opportunity.
One of the aforementioned, who shall remain nameless (probably as he has had so many) Is still here under at least one other name and who has, in the past, openly reported that he contacted QFI's clients under false pretences! .. I doubt if he's stopped!
Strong buy ..study the video or join the forum.
MPC sees 'significant upside' for scrubber-linked charters...
https://theloadstar.co.uk/mpc-sees-significant-upside-scrubber-linked-charters/
He explained that, owing to the large number of sea days, the potential saving based on a difference in price between heavy fuel oil (HFO) and low-sulphur fuel oil (LSFO) of $200 per ton, was a massive $8,000 per day.
On the basis of a $200 spread between the price of HFO and LSFO when the IMO’s 0.5% sulphur cap becomes law on 1 January 2020, MPC has calculated the payback period on the cost of installing a scrubber at about 18 months.

"The Exhaust Gas Cleaning System Association pegged the number of number of vessels currently installed and on order at 983 as of the end of May compared with Argus' vessel scrubber count of 842 as of the end of July. The discrepancy in the numbers can be attributed to the fact that some shipowners prefer to keep their scrubber installation plans confidential as it could affect their competitive advantage of offering cheaper freight rates in 2020."
One operator gave all it's plans away last year when it told everyone it was going for LSFO. ..Yeah right!

"For the moment...we don’t prefer the scrubber solution...we are looking into LNG [and] into
different mixes of fuel.”
Change of tune.
