Progress to date has been slower than expected reflecting the complexity of the process, involving several parties and structures, as well as external factors including COVID-19 related travel restrictions, and more recently delays resulting from western and Russian holiday periods. Notwithstanding these factors, discussions regarding proceeding to binding proposals are continuing. - TBH - time frame is of very little consequence to me , but I would think whoever does want a deal will want it over the line soon so as to take advantage of the upcoming spring weather ?
There is also the psychology of missing out on a bargain , it will be interesting to see , we may get more details on the sale , personally the statement saying he will not sell anymore shares shhould have quashed the negative sentiment , an RNS expanding the reasons for sale could well see us back at 28p plus
Mr Brown
I have no problem with anyone saying they think it will go lower , just have a problem with people who profess to know it will go lower , my bet would be a quick drop to 22p , and straight back up , and gradual climb to 27p , would take a brave man to risk a sell with the intention of scalping 1p
Don't forget the lower it drops the better the investment case
Mrbrown
I am sure there are some who are doubting due to Alexei's sale , that is why we are at 24p , and not 30p , there will also be others thinking wow , what a great risk reward at these lower levels , now is my chance to get back in / in - it will obviously depend on how many oppotunity grabbers there are vs doubters , I think even the doubters will be holding for 28p before baling , based on no evidence at all , other than at these levels the downside is far less than the upside
Any investment is a simple assessment of risk and reward , at these prices the risk reward is imo compelling , for purposes of examining the r/r here i will use 25p as current sp - and 75p as a sensible low ball offer , whilst not a fact , we do have credible valuations at that level - i will use 12.5p as the downside , although I accept some may argue lower -
so a 1k investment is putting 50% of your stake at risk - so downside £500 - up side £2000 profit - or 4 times the value of the money at risk , but here is the kicker , what is the % chance of a deal - I would argue 75% minimum - you assign your own risk , so basically you have odds of 4-1 on a two horse race and your horse is more likely to win on 3 times out of 4
At a betting track , you would be lucky to get 1-4 for a bet like that , EUA offers 4-1 ( based on half your money returned if your horse loses)
additionally , there may be a brucie bonus of an even greater payout , and there is always a decent chance your horse can win by mining it's own assets
Hmm - it sort of made sense when I started to compose it - Hopefully this will give some people a bit of perspective as to the risk reward here , I do not and never will accept that any investment is a sure thing , but some are a lot surer than others , and with reward , there will always be risk , the secret is betting at the right risk reward ratio imo EUA at these prices is a compelling investment for some of your p/f
I accept that you may wish to use your own downside / upside figures , but hopefully , for anyone who has not analysed in this way before , it is if nothing else a useful thought provoking exercise
Crabby
Fair enough , good post , I am all for calling out de rampers calmly and factually , all for any factually or reasoned post , negative or positive , I notice Optimist and Mr Brown do not respond when asked to back up their posts with evidence , that is a far more effective way of dealing with negative unsubstantiated trolling imo
Professor
I saw the interview , I think KAT , is a very decent punt with high upside , but probably a big downside without success , I was hoping for a bit of a spike leading into results of the drills , so I could de risk , doesn't look like I am going to get it , unless I can persuade a few punters to pile in there , feel free to pile in !
