F*ck me, I was only just starting to enjoy the respite from aligator's incessant and meritless moaning and deramping. Aligator, please, either sell up or shut up. Good god, every single post you make is completely negative, twisted and full of misinformation/out right lies. For the 100th time, do you think HE1 are just sat there twiddling their thumbs? Not sure if you've noticed but we're sort of waiting on Noble Helium at the minute to complete their farm out so we can sign the rig contract. And Lorna has literally said that the rig has been inspected what more do you want? The job card of the guy who did it?... "6 weeks silence" yes because there is NOTHING to report because we are waiting on Noble! I'm sure during Covid you were one of those who made it out as if The Walking Dead was going to play out in real life..
There will 100% be a cut-off date where if NHE don't have the funds in place then we'll just do it alone. I assume also that the reason for going with NHE is because we're getting a discount on the rig and then splitting the delivery, licences, fees etc costs. It would've helped getting more interest as well, why loan out your rig for it to only do one drill when you could loan it to others who are looking to drill and thus pay more? The collaboration makes sense, I just hope NHE secure the funding but I am very glad from a monetary standpoint we're in a good position and can go it alone if needs be
@gogs Sorry for the late reply
Yes it's been frustrating and bumpy, I've been in this for well over 2 years now so I appreciate the frustration but to me, it's also just how the cookie crumbles and you need to just sit tight and let them iron the issues out.
Also, with all due respect I've said this time and time again.. be. Patient. It's frustrating I know, I too am heavily invested but I, like I expect you to have done so too, did my research and weighed it up. Has the 2nd drill failed? Are they low on cash? Are approaching the end of the dry season? No. So why are you getting so worked up for? If you have such little faith in the company why invest so heavily?
Regarding the RNS, as Lorna mentioned in the interview they HAD to post since Noble did and yes, it absolutely is to do with time-zones etc, I seriously don't understand where you've got this notion that HE1 have been 'played' or what have you. And so what if Noble announced it if they wanted to? They're their own entity and they can do whatever they see fit, if that then means we are duty-bound to post an RNS in response then that's our problem.
And the rig, I've constantly seen this opinion that HE1 are doing this half-****d; they want things to move along speedily to a successful discovery as much as we all do so you need to have faith and trust in the team that they've done the research in to it, as has been proven by the recent interview. If they say they've signed an LOI after multiple offerings especially with another company then of course they've done their due diligence..
The spud is a few months away, long lead items have been ordered, an LOI has been signed that'll soon lead to a fully-fledged contract as soon as Noble have the funds, we have enough cash etc so please just be patient and don't be getting so worked up over things. The drill is happening and we'll soon be wishing we bought more at this price when it's around the 20's again, so patience and faith is key until then
What's all this about making HE1 look weak by announcing the rig earlier? We're in collaboration with them and it was very obviously announced in unison, it's just that we're in a completely different timezone... If it took us another day to release an RNS? Maybe something was off but 7am as usual? Very obvious that it was all pre-written and submitted or what have you. Where in the world are you getting HE1 being made to look weak lol
@aligator How in the world can you deduce that the management team are completely inept in drilling in Tanzania (even though.. they've already done it) just because they didn't announce the rig contract within a few days of LB saying "soon". Like I've said numerous times, there'll be unexpected hiccups. Items that just need that bit of extra time and effort and it also needs to correlate with Noble's activity. Seeing as Noble have announced the rig contract, I expect an RNS in the morning with HE1 announcing it too. Just sit back, relax and wait for god's sake
"I know nothing at all" and there we have it. Had all of this talk about DM... There's a lot of moving parts and a plethora of things that need to be worked out and finalised. If they haven't announced a rig, guess what, they're not ready to. Did it not cross your mind that maybe they're trying to not follow the same mistakes as DM? By only releasing information when it's 100% finalised? The HE1 team probably want this to progress and succeed as much if not more than us, I don't understand this perception that they're dawdling with their feet up. We've been told Q3 so we wait for Q3 and leave them to it
Tiger, if you honestly believe that then you really shouldn't be invested anyways. A few months away from the drill and a near certain rise to at least 20-25p and people are complaining and selling up lol people absolutely baffle me sometimes
@Dobbyy but that's the reason why we're having this collaboration; because there might be drilling companies who no matter what aren't interested in signing a contract with us because they'd rather have their drill elsewhere drilling 2, 3, 4 or whatever wells in the same time that sending a drill to us would've only done one
Just watched the meeting, very impressed by Ian's statements and a little bit shocked about what he said about DM. Very confidence inspiring though from Lorna too, but especially Ian. Good to know that we have a good director who has skin in the game who's paying attention and doesn't accept any substandard work
@KeithOz
Thank you for the reply and insight. I suppose with what you've just said it makes the Predator rig incident more down to negligence. I don't know the full in's and out's of the grounding of the rig, a few different scenarios paint a slightly different picture but I can't help but feel that there was no way he could've expected the Exalo rig to be contracted out for longer
I hate to be so bitter and I'm sorry but this won't change a thing. I know a rig contract will probably be announced relatively soon and everyone will flock here praising Lorna but the contract talks will already be well under way and the date of the announcement would be the exact same date if DM was still in charge. DM knew very well that this could happen and when a drilling success would lead a great increase in his reputation and wealth why would he stall? He probably couldn't have expected the audit to take so long nor the need for repairs, nor the court restriction nor the Exalo rig being contracted for longer. Sorry guys but nothing will change, this was just to appease the big investors and instill confidence back in to the project
