Thanks Keep, just trying to understanding how others are feeling
Pichu, That is true. I think the concentration of helium will play a big role as it also proves there to be more helium there than previously thought and then potentially more helium across the other sites (showing 10.6% at surface but I think the 138 BCF is off of 4%). Thanks for the reply though, appreciated. I'm hoping the big seller eases off and the price truly does open up!
Just wondering what people think in regards to the SP when the drilling is complete and they come to market with a helium show? H&P estimate 31p but... 10p jump on the back of HE1's first proven economical, production-level helium reserve at their first drill site? Seems rather low to me so was just thinking what others thought regarding this
Tai didn't, they only found helium bubbling up at Itumbula which is around 20km/12 miles away. I don't think they've done any work in regards to the other sites although I would be pretty surprised if they only started at another pad (clearing it, laying gravel, access road etc) once the previous site was finished; if they want it on time and within budget which the recent share options backs up I would be inclined to say that they would ready the next site so that the drill can finish, get transported and get drilling again but please, especially with me, DYOR :)
Just a little thing to highlight in the more recent report is that although a lot, including myself, have talked about the £1.28 SP, that's only after all 4 sites are drilled. I would be surprised if only goes to 31 or so pence after Tai (10p increase after HE1's first confirmation at their very first site? Hmm..) but that's what the analysts are saying, just something to remember
Personally, I was hoping for a bit higher. The announcement of the drilling permits shot us up to where we are now and that was also pretty expected. It's the big seller/s who are keeping the price down atm imo. Expected or not, this is an incredible milestone that'll only be topped by the confirmation of production-ready helium so for the SP to drop slightly is rather disappointing
I think the response to the drill announcement and the spud, also, will be a big indication as to where to the SP will go. If we beat or exceed that £1.28 estimate, maybe more towards £2 then.. I honestly think £5 will be fairly cheap one day given the amount of milestones HE1 will reach that will all contribute positively to the SP. Obviously, with each announcement of a helium discovery at each well there'll be a diminishing affect compared to the first (Tai) discovery but even so, they'll all contribute very, very nicely. Thank you Trek for your continued contributions, major potential with this stock, honestly can not wait for the spudding to commence.. more excited about that than the restrictions lifting!
Have a feeling, could be completely wrong here so don't give me too much grief, that they actually started drilling at the end of last week/start of this week and could just be waiting until mud logs show there to be helium in the ground and maybe that's why they stopped posting updates on Twitter so that people (well, us) wouldn't get curious as to why the drilling hasn't started when they've laid the gravel and done this, that and those things.
Since we're in the dark, it relieves them of the pressure of making sure it all goes smoothly which it may not do given that it's their first drill out in the middle of Tanzania because if they announced the drilling a lot of people would start wondering "well, come on, where's the mud results?". Could be completely off but I mentioned this in the Telegram group a few days ago, maybe DM is reading this like "lol, you're so wrong" but thought I would put it out there :) DM is a clever guy and he understands that it won't go completely smoothly and not telling us that the drilling has started gives the HE1 team some breathing space
If they do announce the drilling and helium show all in one it would be well worth the wait :) I understand patience is key here I'm just... quite eager that's all :)
Just curious as to how the work will be carried out both currently and when the drilling commences in the sense that will it be a 7 day operation? Maybe even 24 hour? I noticed them clearing for the road during the night and I know that time is money in this industry so just got me wondering.. Plus, I've seen videos (because of researching this company and this industry) of oil well drilling taking place through the night and given the remoteness of the location I can't see there being much to keep them busy?
Thanks
It really does show the best the internet has to offer doesn't it :) Even like when someone found out the exact location of the Tai site on Google Maps through a bit of digging, incredible stuff!
My knowledge/experience is miniscule in all honesty but if there is something where I feel I can add a little bit to then I do try :) But same as you, as time goes on my confidence in this just gets higher and higher; can not wait for that drill to start turning! I'm hoping any day now but after that newsletter it could be next week.
Hoping my 63,000 shares do me and my dad proud, both be very happy if they reach a pound and I'm sure you'll be too! Not jealous at all :D
Dai, I think that's exactly what they've done which is how they've come up with 138 BCF P50, and possibly the other ranges are with a higher and lower purity, varying sizes etc. I know the 138 BCF is based off of 4%
Dai, you're more than welcome good sir! I only know a little but I try to chime in when I can :) But yeah, this board shows how great the internet can be because so many people help each other with their own specific knowledge and experience! I believe the flow test though will just show how much helium can be extracted on a daily basis.
I'm sure DM said in the latest interview that they're planning on attempting to conduct a flow test though
