Just returned for London, still a few mask wearers. No one on the coach back north holding non-wearers to task. I wore a mask and still caught a tap nose cold lol. Still fewer wearing them at Buchanan St . It's as if the bug has more or less gone south of the border. You'd think due due the COP thing and the influx of bodies from all over the globe, there would be extra mask/ distancing. measures throughout the city. Oh well.

Returned from a 6 day working hol. In the meantime we hit ~180 at one point. Now we've tankety-tanked all the way back to where it was 168-9 when I left for Skyscraper'd Woking. (Should be twinned with Shanghai or Dubai now !)
My take- winter flu season and covid friendlier environment overrides N. America route reopening and that this appears a trading share at the moment: on a sector that is reopening, any nice spikes are leapt upon by the piranha 'bots. 09.30 today says it all to me. No bad news but we tank.
Interesting : EZY flash tanks at 11.09 and us at 11.07

Now there's no bad news around maybe, just maybe, we'll start rising again after the 'bots have had their 1-2% feed. News ain't driving these stocks its just 'bots. I don't keep stops in now as flash tanks aren't uncommon these days. Stuff 'em.

On the other hand, I reckon buyers are still worried for a winter resurgence of all sorts of bugs even with booster roll outs, hence the lack of big money days here.(5% up). GLA

In retro- (!). The vol had quietened and the price has been left to follow the general market. But sharp eye here spotted strings of 2000 trades going through. Slow accumulation on decent-ish wider market news.

We've a rough few weeks on the road to some kid of recovery, what with oil, inflation int rates, oh, and the Covid bug. Hence we've inched along with 0.22 here and 0.56 % there but we are, just starting to make new highs on the intra day. Surprised to see '65 this morning, so we must have opened well up. Happy enough for the late sixties this week now, compared to this time last week we've done alright. Dry powder on the standby still just in case the 'bots want other 'bot in/ tree shake. Smoother trajectory today. Good stuff. No homemade Cointreau for me this evening !!

Good to see we're back in the 160's. No scary news today esp. ingflation. Friday is a toughie, but more folks could feel more comfortable holding over the weekend. Maybe some folks also have been looking to get into the 160's until they start buying again.

Good stuff, 164 high. IAG one of the few risers on my minerals and petros watchlist. A week of v. slow rebulding after the sell offs due to inflation, int rates and covis stuff and the odd Grecian volcano. If we start for a higher low -above 156 tomorrow we may be on our way again. Strange how HBR/ Tullow dropped lots on good oil prices. One oilman told me the amount o new regs esp. environmental ones are strangling the industry; so maybe that's it. Interesting week ahead.

At least the sp hasn't plummeted like it did last week. Mondays and Fridays are usually pretty volatile to boot. Looking at this week to stabilise (fingers crossed for no scary news stories) before we v. slowly climb back to the late 160's's on friday.
