​1. Quality & Purity: Zambia vs. South Africa

​In terms of raw geological potential, Zambia's deposits are often superior to many South African sources for metallurgical purposes.

​Purity (CaCO₃): Firering’s Limeco project boasts a Tier 1 limestone deposit with a JORC-compliant resource of 145.2Mt at 95.7% CaCO_3. For copper smelting, high purity is critical because it more efficiently removes impurities like silica and alumina.

​Quicklime Quality (CaO): Recent laboratory tests from Limeco (April 2025) confirmed that their quicklime consistently reaches over 90% CaO purity.

​The "metallurgical standard" for copper mining is typically 80%.

​By hitting 90%+, FRG is producing a product that is technically "better" than the average grade available in the region, including much of what is exported from South Africa.

The Admarine 501 jack-up rig is currently slated to handle the drilling operations for Tower Resources (TRP) at the NJOM-3 well site in the Rio del Rey (RDR) basin, offshore Cameroon.

The Mission: The primary objective is to drill the NJOM-3 well. This is a critical step for Tower Resources as it aims to prove up reserves in the shallow-water Thali license, which has an estimated potential of roughly 18 million barrels of oil.
