I'm A negative as well. Used to donate platelets as well, very simple process as long as your vein walls are fairly strong, (at 66)mine were still OK. But since moved over to isle of wight, and no facility over here to donate, and foundit to much hassle to travel to Southampton to donate unfortunately. But would recommend to anyone, the sense of well being was enormous when I was told the platelets would help children with blood cancer..

Sorry I have been out all day, had a second tumour (small) but they removed it, had a course of chemo and everything is fine, don't have to go back til August so happy with that..
