Eli Lilly is acquiring Verve Therapeutics for approximately $1.3 billion, expanding its cardiovascular disease pipeline with Verve's gene editing therapies. The deal includes an upfront cash payment of $10.50 per share, totaling around $1 billion, plus a contingent value right (CVR) potentially worth an additional $3.00 per share, according to Eli Lilly and Company. This acquisition will give Lilly access to Verve's lead program, VERVE-102, a potential first-in-class in vivo gene editing treatment targeting PCSK9, a gene associated with cholesterol levels and cardiovascular health.

Agree Bunsen, and Wallonia had to get sign off from the European Union to award it, as it comes from their pot. Genflow have the potential to be massive.

The Patent office have just updated their website to say the patent has been accepted into the European National Phase. This is great news as means there is a strong reasoning for patentability and no contest with-in the scientific field 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Bunsen, I think it was the day traders who sold yesterday.

They were leveraged between Genflow and EME and both with the same potential on news. EME moved first and gave them 500% profit, so I believe they just cashed out of all over trades and will take a well earned year off.

The traders selling their shares yesterday was just a gift to MM’s and long term holders waiting in the midst. I really don’t think there are many shares in circulation and this will head back up today.

UK government partly to blame. They’re sitting on and arguing over a £2bn pot which Genflow should be one of the first in line to qualify on. The company is fortunate, despite being a UK listed company, the European Union keep giving them generous grants in order to continue with their research without shareholder dilution.
