Karen not correct. a buyer can launch a hostile bid at anytime. Normally they would approach the company and say we would ke to buy you at X how does that look. if the board disgrees and refuses to recommend the bid then the buyer can go "hostile" and put the bid direct to the shareholders direct and if a big enough percentage agree then they win the company. For example buyer offers board £5 a share they refuse to recommend it and then buyer offers the shareholders direct and who knows some people may accept that bid. In reality the sp will have risen above the bid price so unless it is a "knock out" bid ...£7 then unlikely to succeed. if a company buys 30pct of the company in the market...unlikely they could with only 68m in issue they are obliged to bid for the whole company.

Message to myself....don't read bbs over the w/end! Was feeling very happy with my purchases at 303/313 to add to my position but reading the posts today well actually I think they were more ACTV posts I have worked myself from being extremely bullish to really quite depressed. Of course I have done my own research and remain extremely confident that we are currently oversold and becoming grossly undervalued,unless all the rns's are porkies, but this talk of a distressed seller and hot money chasing unproven rainbows I fear that unless we get a confidencing rns tomorrow we may be heading south and I worry I may do something rash like try and be clever and join the sellers to make a quick 50pts or so . Lots of people say this is a grown up share and maybe it is due to mcap but to me I say that's boll..cos as it still behaves like an aim share with no influencing IIs and the sp driven not by reality but sentiment....I worry for my sanity tomorrow and whatever I do will be wrong gut says sell heart says keep buying!!!

Jeez come in off my tractor and nothing has changed since this morning. The same old derampers having said they have sold and are leaving are still here spouting the merits of other companies they have invested in that are better than ncyt well good luck and GOODBYE please. I am invested here and firmly believe we will motor back but I've posted that already earlier. IMV ,however, if we get no news on Monday then I can see this sp dropping further as we seem to have convinced ourselves that there is a distressed seller with perhaps 5pct ,who knows really, still to sell and therefore why would you buy at £3 if you think you can get it at 2.50 or worse if you really believe the seller is still out there I might be tempted to front run it hoping that if I get my timing wrong he will still be there at £3 which is why I think it important that we get some clarification on forward sales,margins etc. Peeps like me were happily buying on Friday at 3.03 and 3.13 thinking what a great price to add but that was before I knew of this potential overhang. Don't get me wrong I still think it will turn out to be a stellar price but no one like to catch a falling knife so I think Monday morning could be very choppy and my fingers will be hovering over the green and red button depending which way the wind blows.

Pionr3 not difficult to predict the sp will drop through £3 as it pretty much closed there and if no news next week "impatient sentiment" and rainbow chasing could mean a period of weakness.
As to your logic I would say flawed,unresearched and pure c@ap. A second wave will come I believe and be worse I believe as having gained some freedom the public as a whole will not take to being told go back to your homes.
The need for 100pct antigen testing is huge and will,imo,grow and at the moment ncyt are at the forefront and as long as they can stay ahead of the curve will continue to grow over and above their estimated current"over 10m" tests per month especially when you consider who we are partnered with.
Vaccine and antibody are not a commercial threat,atm,to ncyt.
I will however put on record that I was disappointed with the rns,not so much the results but the lack of meat on the bones of forward outlook.
