Don’t know why I bother to read bbs as they always have an adverse effect on my health. Regardless of my own research they always leave an element of doubt which is no bad thing. All I can say is if this rerates to a penny on loi then from my own point of view I have totally misjudged this and it will have been a complete waste of time and tied up capital. But you can’t fight or prejudge the market as what will be will be.

actually it was passition's calcs and valuation, I was just challenging your what seemed rather blanket dismissal of his figures. I actually agree with you that it is impossible to calculate any future sp,in this case, but as a starting point do not think his 1-3% starting point is not onerous? What value would you try and put on it. If you are invested you must have a target?

oh thanks jstar we might as well all sell up then as this share has no future. of course it needs to be funded and rather thought that is where chinacoal come in. I cannot believe that ORCP or partners would be even entering into this project if there was not substantial return to be had. No one can put a value on the company without knowing all the figures-that I agree- but one has to start somewhere. my rationale for investing,let us say for the short term that once we have the LOI and intial finance we are"in" the project and in that case become largely de-risked, as to the sp ,yes who knows but I don't think 1.2-3p is unreasonable. Put another way once(and of course still if) LOI etc lands what price would someone pay to take our percentage or as you rightly point out "option"??

well not sure what I would describe myself as then! Had a pretty sizeable position here for a while.5/6 ave and "borrowed" some of that to do the "covid plays" got bored of those now as either madly overvalued or the opposite but the sp has no ryme or reason. so bought back some more on Friday and 700k this morning thinking finally here we go but I'm afraid my buying has been the kiss of death for this mornings rally and for that I apologise....lol but in reality I really cannot see this do anything but move appreciably higher on LOI and then some on finance but hey what do I know.

From memory Casper said he had two criteria for selling, namely target reached or lost confidence in the board. It was the latter that decided him to sell.

I beg to differ. you know you are going to receive 811000 shares that you do not wish to hold onto so you short sell by borrowing stock and on the 9th you close out the trade by repaying the shares. This happens all the time with "mates" placings. The placee sell short knowing the market will almost def fall on announcement as otherwise if they wait for the announcement they will be left "holding the baby" as punters on the announcement of the placing sell the market down to the placing price and sometimes below.
