Personally Kellogs, I think you’ve called this spot on. From what I can remember, you had two main buy areas waiting for a sign of movement. One was 115 in case it went down, the other was 130 after watching the action at the high 120s over the last couple of weeks.
A big £30K sell showing up now !!
Kellog's, I hope you're right for all the boys and girls on the board. I'll sit tight until the dust settles for the time being.
Totally agree, Borgy. Good luck to those taking that gamble.
Surprised you'd jump in before the update, Kellogs ? A bad update will drop this down another 10% ? A good one a 2% rise judging by recent share movements. I can see 130 before the update, triggering your buy, but it's too much of a risk around the contents of the update. Too much can go wrong for me to enter at the moment. As you've said before, I'd sooner miss 5% of a sustained rise than get caught out by a15% drop.
I’m still waiting to jump back in but need to see some prolonged buying action. The trend is your friend and all that !!
You must have a few bob in here now, SUFCESSEX ?
Nope. Obviously our gambling is not only shares !
Talking about FTSE Dogs, Google ‘dogs of the FTSE dividend portfolio’. A very interesting strategy.
No appetite for this at the moment. Still waiting for an entry price. Looks like a slow burner now.
All Pharmas took a hammering today. SHP and HIK got battered. GSK and AZN got off lightly.
Time for a graph, Kellogs ? I may have missed the boat here. Unless there's a pullback I may wait for 150 and a gap fill to 160ish.
Have a good one, Kellogs and all.
It’s had the look of shorts closing after not breaching 390p a couple of times rather than big buys coming in ? 400p - 390p looks like the battle range now ? If 390p goes it won’t look too good.
I did the same at £4 - sold half my holding and will look for an opening spike then pullback to about 390ish to enter again.
A good strong move off 391p there. Will it last and get over 400p ? That will be a good sign some buyers are back.
Any thoughts on CPI ?
You don’t trade your entire pension pot each time do you ? That would be a significant sum of cash each trade I would assume ?
You don’t even use volume looking for that Bank/Institutes push ? That’s should be real time for blue chip stocks ? I’ve always felt AIM is rife for hidden trades and late reporting ! Also what time period do you use for your day trading ?
I was reading up on your TA approach, Kellogs. Reviewing your emphasis on price action only, I assume you use a 'naked' trading strategy - very interesting and a very good read from some of the articles and PDF books I read. By naked trading, it doesn't mean not having any clothes on, I assume ?
