If the market has already priced in the windfall tax, which has been well documented and shouldn’t come as any surprise, I would hope minimum negative disruption to the SP.
The market hates uncertainty and once the news is out, the market will take the SP wherever it was planning. Let’s hope it’s upwards towards the £1 figure.

Just bought in here and sitting on a nice profit at the moment. Anyone have any thoughts on how CNA may react if a windfall tax is announced on Thursday, as suggested by the media ? I’d hate to give back my gains and am seriously considering cashing in before the boot is put into the O&G companies.

VOD shares at 42p ? Bloody well hope not !!

To part fund its participation in the Transaction, the Company has sold 6,000,000 Greatland Gold PLC ("Greatland") shares at an average realised price of £0.148 per share through a structured series of sales in the weeks leading up to the Transaction.

6million shares for £1.2million is 20p/share. Not the high but certainly a great result. Anyone who tells you they buy at the low and sell at the high is generally a proven liar. Companies are no different.

So, please explain to me how you can have more sells than buys. For every seller, there is a buyer and vice versa. The SP moves on which side applies the pressure. Unless of course you're talking about MM manipulation.
