Everyone has own strategy. I am long time shareholder. That not means that I not accept speculation. I accept and I am speculating when I see a chance to win. But if you observe ITV shares, all circumstances you never know WHEN is this last time...
For the most part, cycles are predictable. And theoretically you can make money from them. However, the situation is slowly narrowing and, as I predict, there will be a smooth overcoming of growth resistance. Then you start waiting for the share price to drop and trying to buy it back. This may be easy when you have an investment portfolio of 20k shares. In my case, playing for a few potential percentages of profit makes no sense. From my point of view, a fair valuation of these shares is at least £1.4-2.0 in today's stock market conditions. And I stick to this, trying to speculate realistically up to 10% of my involvement in ITV shares. And I continue to accumulate within my financial capabilities. When I started investing in ITV shares, I assumed a 3-4-year time horizon and an average annual profit rate of 10% + dividends. Currently, without dividends, my average share purchase price is approximately £0.69. Neither very good nor tragic. Everything before us.
As for my assessment of some of the comments. As I said. Lots of trolls, people with no knowledge or economic education and, above all, no money. Trolling and hypocrisy, just like on all anonymous social networking sites and discussion groups. Here it is fueled by money, its lack or aversion to those who have it.
