Grainger still riding over the dips. Latest Jefferies rating of 176P. See Kier have won contract to maintain Grainger properties. Grainger thinks it will save money and improve service so sounds like another good piece of outsourcing.

STAN been heading south for a while now. I,ve maked it down for a 1400p buy in, although might be tempted slightly higher. STAN is better than current SP so personally think heading for a bit of a discount here.

I agree caution is needed. Greggs doing a good job and have just about saturated the High Street. Need to use their name for some other sausage roll type ventures like the Iceland one. Not sure a Northern pie maker should try upmarket, just work out ways of getting more exposure to the supermarket/frozen retail market. I would personally try a few Northern European cities with the model. It will be a hit somewhere. They did this years ago but whole of Eastern Europe beckons. Reckon the Poles would love them.

I feel like I need a Wilson on this site!!!! Anyway looking at 70 to 100% gain in last 12 months. That might wake you up. Aim shares somehow always promise but the FTSEs best shares are delivering.

I like companies like Grainger that say very little. I suspect there will be only good news coming out of interim results this week. I predicted this could go to 160p a few months ago and based on interim's I suspect this could be a march on to 170p to 200p. Mr Cunningham and his team seem to be quietly taking this company in the right direction. Renting is only going one way and Grainger are in the right places at the right time. A lot less hassle being here than buy to let and the returns are better. Keep it up.

Share price appears to have steadied for now. Need a good performance at the AGM to convince me they are going the right way. Greggs rent a lot of space and a quick check on foot fall 1pm in Newcastle last Weds/Thurs/ Friday where there is one of every corner suggested some doing well and others need a rethink. I know just a snapshot but if I was near empty at 1pm on Thurs/Friday when queuing 20 deep 400 yrds away at another Greggs I would consider dropping/reinventing poorest % of stores and increasing staff at the premium stores where they were struggling to cope with pasty chompers. Still think this is a sound business.

I tend to do a few buys towards the bottom, dripping in. Been caught out to many times waiting for a number that never arrives or buying all and taking a hit. Held off today as gone below my 400p but will see about topping up tomorrow depending which way this goes. Still think this is a good price to come in.

I think a few of us stated there was a buying opportunity a few weeks ago sub 330p. I,ll join you if we get another one but unless Fred Goodwin gets the finance directors job I cannot see any news that will take us there other than the market going backwards.

on it going down. History suggests your right but the profits, leadership and general good news coming out of SL suggest this time suggest it can push on.

Does not look like will drop much further. Just put a buy in. If goes below 400p will top up again. But agree this will recover and a nice discount.

I went in at 309 and again at 210. Generally listening to interview think I will hang in here for that 3 year period and see what happens. Obviously down at moment but this still looks like a runner. They have only tested 15% of their allocation so far so could still be a few more discoveries along the way. Not much invested so worth a little support and may try to reduce average again if opportunity arises. Looks like can survive fluctuations in price. Just hope costs stay low.

Lowest for two years now but generally everything ok. Could be a buy if goes under 400. I love the saying slightly below the lower end thrown in the last paragraph of statement.

See Sky have an 8 part Inside the business series starting based on Greggs starting 290413. Obviously has consent of management so could be a positive. TV can influence share prices look at SXX today.

Wording of this seems as though SL have been caught unawares on this one. Looks like Jackie Hunt wants to be top dog and has been head hunted. She has been selling her shares. Anyway should be able to attract a talented replacement given the current rise of the company. Just hope Board have had feelers out and have not been dumped on by Hunt.

Nearly 4% drop pre interim results any thoughts?

After pumping most my Isa allowance in the other week I can duck out for a near 10% yearly gain. Figures look very good though. I actually think this can support itself in the 370 to 400+ levels now. Aim shares have done less than nothing for me last year (-19%) but rest did well, HL and SL especially. I think FTSE 100 buys will be my strategy this year with SL at the helm again. I hold 40% SL which is way too much so going to drop to 25% and have a bit of AV short term and others to spread the risk. Thinking VOD for dividend.

Still think this will settle around 345 to 360 so topped up for this year whilst sub 330 via the portal. Expect slow and steady.

This was a good buy at 400 at just over 300 with that sort of news I cannot resist.
