The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Being something of a novice trader (although done OK out of TW so far, and am happy to wait as long as it takes for this to rise), what makes you say this couchman? Is there any specific news / forecast that I've missed?
It always strikes me as odd that when a reasonably positive trading statement comes out, as did recently, it can cause a share price to drop??!
Filters applied Robbren, on both sides.
But you're not though, you're just bickering amongst yourselves to get the last word, like spoilt kids in a playground.
We are all intelligent enough to know that this share isn't going to reach 5 million pounds by the eleventy-twelfth of Octember, so there no need for a) Sudenza to keep telling us so, and b) you to keep telling us it isn't.
For Christ's sake, will you both just give it a rest so the rest of us can have a reasoned discussion.
You clearly do care Sudenza, or else you would just filter him/her and move on instead of adding fuel to his/her fire by replying each time.
I think you should both leave this board Blue, your constant deramping of this share has gone beyond tiresome, and Sudenza, your constant over-ramping has reached the same level of annoyance as BB, but perhaps a little less erudite.
In any case, you both have a constant need to "one-up" the other and, quite frankly, the rest of us are sick of it.
"It's over, there is no pot of gold and no rainbow"
OK, well does this mean that as a non-investor you'll finally bugger off then?
mararab - I'm a complete novice, only invested for about £700 with IAG at this time hence would hope that this bulletin board would be a place to come to get some proper insight into this share and some constructive advice, rather than you few cretins constantly giving it the "my nobs bigger than your nob" rubbish.
Guys - he thinks you're a *******, you think he's a *******. Neither of you will change your opinion of the other regardless of what happens here, so why do you even bother interacting? The constant needs to one-up the other is a waste of your time and quite frankly p*sses off the rest of us who want to read a bulletin board and glean some proper information from it. Grow the hell up.
Copper, he/she does the same thing on the Taylor Wimpey board - although not to as much extent has here, but still, exactly the same approach. i just ignore it there as well.
Jesus christ, some of you people (rampers and de-rampers) need to grow the hell up. Youll be arguing over who's dad can beat up the other person's dad next. My 7 year old lad is more mature than you. Pathetic.
Blue, I'm a complete novice in share dealing so I must be missing something here - I just don't understand why you're such a vehement contributor to this thread when you're not invested in IAG? What do you have to gain from spending all day sharing opinions on something which doesn't affect you? Genuine question!
So very well said.
Grow up
Thanks Krusty - it's an odd one, but maybe I am just reading too much into it. I'm happy to let these shares sit and hopefully recover to pre-pandemic levels over the next year or two? We'll see.
Having never been party to a special dividend, what might this typically be? I was quite happy with the 4.14p normal divi recently received - that provided a pretty decent lump sum.
Hi All - as a novice in the world of share dealing (I bought TW shares last year while waiting for a house move to complete, and as it happens haven't had to cash these in to assist with funding the house move like I thought I might have to) I've noticed that, in general TW shares seem to fall a little faster than other HBs, and more often than not, recover a little more slowly too. Any ideas why that may be, or is it just one of the foibles of shares dealing?!
As luck would have it, even as a novice I'm a few £k up on my original investment, which is nice.
