Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
Thanks Funkybeats one of the better responses from Art I've seen to date. At least we now have an up to date timeline from the man himself to base our hopes on and throw back at him if doesn't happen.
Jay --as I think Harry is clearly busy-- I agree you are the best person to be our contact point with the company if you are willing to take it on,many thanks if you do.
I am an infrequent poster but long time holder/sufferer with a substantial position here.
As a lot of Q's are falling into the 'similar' category' there my be some editing/categorizing involved but here's my tuppence worth anyway.
1 Can they confirm Sept 25th hearing is re EM or Agamore and which jurisdiction it is being heard ?
2 !f EM as I believe/fear, why has a dispute with supposedly 'no merit' been allowed to escalate where EM appear to be continuing to drive this by taking the next step earlier than anticipated, eg did the hoped for 'amicable talks' --if indeed we had any, fail and turn acrimonious quickly;have EM found a backer so now happy to go through an expensive court case and now have funds to buy us out if they succeed or could it be purely a negotiating strategy, even last roll of the dice on their part ? I'm not asking for mind reading here merely opinion from those that should be far better informed than us.
3 If Agamore can we presume this has more merit/gravitas than we were led to believe. It is not 'our' opinion that counts -- how I wish it was !
4 If EM can we expect any resolution on Sept 25th,is this where the judge decides if the dispute has sufficient grounds to continue --in which case they will surely hold our hand to the flame. And can we be informed of the outcome promptly --ie that day.
5 To mention the verboten timeline in a broader sense, if the two disputes are sorted in our favour is it a reasonable expectation the timeline last quoted by Art will resume merely being delayed by the time lapsed
Thanks for that. Your Q's were similar to mine and you received the fairly meaningless replies that in reality I was expecting.Yep it is a concern us minnows could be at the bottom of the pile where NNPC are concerned but this where Shoreline are meant to be stepping up. As Art has claimed we are nearing the end of the process now seems that may not be the case---I hope I'm wrong.
I am pleased to see that finally NNPC seem to be in the process of signing off various projects which means in theory if PIGB is really not relevant to us,as appears the case, and Shoreline have done what is expected of them, we could be signed off any time now but a little concerned this is not reflected by the market with sp still struggling at these levels ?
Similar to Rift after having a reasonable dialogue with Cathy and Art my more recent emails have gone unanswered. Has anybody received anything from the company recently ?
Just not sure what to make of it......nothing new there with this lot.
Look while this little spike is nice and no harm basking in the feel good factor it's fairly immaterial pre NNPC I think we need The Super Eagles to fly high enough in the W.Cup to get the 'gentlemen' at NNPC in sufficient good spirits to attend to their duties and sign us off but not to soar so high they become so distracted for a further month that the spinning wheels of industry they're so renowned for grind to a halt. It may also help if they cut down on the never ending absurd junkets that every time I see mentioned makes me feel like hitting the sell button. My heart goes out to the long suffering decent folks of Nigeria still waiting for some trickle down from the bounty bestowed upon their country. Basic infrastructure would be a great start !!! While not camera shy does make me wonder how they can look their fellow countrymen in the eye. I sympathise with Art in any dealings he has with these people, but my patience is being tested by Shoreline -- after all, this is what they signed up for and supposedly their area of expertise on their home turf not to mention they're the main reason I'm here as expected better ! Surely should of been finalized by now. Come on guys. To finish up on a more cheerful note --the reason I don't hit sell is I regard this as one of the better risk/reward plays I've come across in a long time and do still have faith in all the parties involved to take us further, as envisioned by Art, once unshackled from the current NNPC red tape which I do think will happen eventually,possibly/hopefully before the next placement. Let's hope all our respective teams do well enough to take our minds off the interminable wait but being an Englishman invested here that may be just too much to wish for.
Maybe quite simply a disciplined investor who had drawn the line in the sand if no news by end of May. If taken a loss at this price maybe that was balanced out by no longer having to worry what the three blind monkeys Arthur,Shoreline and NNPC were up to or more likely had another more promising less stressful option which is not difficult.
