Adam Davidson, CEO of Trident Royalties, discusses offtake milestones and catalysts to boost FY24. Watch the video here.
Earlier this month which after previously having good comms with him was the first brief reply for many months. He has also said the same to others. As ever can we take him at his word is the Q we cannot answer.
Now sp. Good luck to any newbies and as regards the long-suffering LTH's I think we all realised this was a 'risk' play when jumping on board so my think is for a comparatively further small top-up it can make any av look far more acceptable. I have topped up considerably and been pleased with how quickly the av comes down at the current level. May I put it that for the av pi here a mere two mill top-up could make a significant difference....call it a Xmas pressie to yourself!!
I am also of the opinion that while sp is all about post news the higher the springboard the better for all.
Finally: Cathy told me at the beginning of the year she bumped into Art --not clear if in the office, more likely a fast food joint--and Art punched the sky with "This is going to be our year!"....well Art it really has not, has it! So let's all hope next year really is else those punches will not be aimed at the sky.
Good Luck all aboard the COPL train....lets hope for a really special holiday treat this year.
Good morning-- further thoughts round up. Firstly it seems my prediction of 'is this the week?' in my last post may have been a little premature but I am still of the opinion we may well receive what we all want this year.
Reasoning: it still revolves around short term finance for running costs which by now I think has passed 'running on fumes' so really must be resolved before month-end when certain commitments need to be met.
Apart from the points made in my last post --namely, there are no institutions chasing us-- the indications are there is not a place about to land and the limited/only feedback from Art being "we will not go under"., please, if in doubt contact him yourself as he is quite adamant on this point, then the only conclusion I can draw is that the long talked about elusive alt.finance is pretty well in place.
Now, should that land in an RNS it is not the, phew we're solvent, that should excite us, though not writing the relief off, but the fact it could only happen if whoever is providing the finance in whatever form --as opposed to us catching the knife again with a place-- will have done their due diligence, the likely cause of delay, so are confident Essar dispute resolved, NNPC, PB is about to be signed off followed by SP, finance, rig and confirmed drill date. In other words, finally, all the ducks lined up. I think unlikely even Art will be able to pull a flanker with them the way he has repeatedly done with us.
Art has had to contend with a lot of moving parts but more a slide puzzle than Rubik cube but that is what he is handsomely paid for and has been for several years, so far without achieving anything of note. I do feel with his poor negotiating and people skills along with his astounding arrogance he still has a lot to answer for along with our board of buffoons, namely Ludwig who is ultimately responsible for protecting our investment from the deplorable housekeeping from Art that has done so much damage---one day I would still like him to be held accountable --if you can find him! and Vis Astor who even he must be aware that with Brexit, Cameron still so relevant the red tops are waiting in the wings to jump all over him should it indeed be found he has allowed a company to be run nefariously under his watch!!! Hopefully, that will be my last concerned rant guys.
Great post last week mcadder, a breath of fresh air, Jamie and Bolton pleasure as ever.
So is this the week? Here are my thoughts: several months ago despite hopes Alt finance was in position I believe Art made an unpopular back to the wall place which was the minimum he could get away with, allowing for reduced overheads, finally!. I/we can only surmise to his reasoning. Surely he must have estimated --this would give him sufficient time to try to attain necessary agreements before funds run low again rather than a repeat scenario?
So here we are, not ideal, but thanks to no institutions being involved to 'pull the plug' similar to Oilexco, along with, I believe, a lot of our burgeoning debts being 'in house', namely delayed salaries, insolvency is an unlikely imminent issue, we are now in a position where our finances do need bolstering.
As Art has been seemingly MIA [or more so than usual] of recent, supposedly in a flurry of meetings, is he finally pulling the entire package together? namely, Essar, Alt. Finance,NNPC.PB and service provider/finance...or just trying to get the initial deal with Essar on the table to enable Alt Finance to come into play? As all I think are reportable, if anything does come to fruition we should hear something, hopefully, this week or at the outside soon...sorry not my fav word either. Sp should react most favourably.
Should we not hear anything or we get a further place we all have the right to feel let down again and to act accordingly...each to their own.
So many alternatives and I freely admit I am putting my glass half full scenario forward here. Again the fact he has not been out banging the pre place drum can only be a good thing.
Re sp: as mcadder pointed out, last weeks movement could be a positive sign/start and if can be sustained with some high volume an indication of things to come. However, being realistic let's get it back to the pre Q report level first followed by the last place point before getting too excited and working out the frightening upside if/or when all our ducks are in alignment.
I did have a small top-up last week as don't want to be one of those looking at sp at say 4 or 6p saying I could have bought at 0.06 ish even though I would be ecstatic anyway, just want it both ways I'm afraid, while fully aware of the flip side. If you're going to bet against the market this is the one and the time is now.
Hope we all have a great week....long overdue
Seems others think the fact there is no pre place pump points in the direction that Alt. finance may soon be announced along with the protracted sit down with Essar nearing a solution, so rolling the dice and putting their cash down.
Next week could be exciting
springs to mind after watching those wonderful veterans last Sunday.
Trying to kick people who he thinks are down, a dreadful trait, all from behind a keyboard sums him up...his parents must be so proud.
I did report him but most likely too late as he seems to have departed, hopefully taking some of his clones, Mannan and a couple of others with him. That would be great eh Bonehead.
Now, something has sprung to mind that is putting a smile on my face this cold miserable morning. As threatening to blow up the monarchy and the police are slightly more serious than insulting Cathy, his most heinous crime to date apart from simply being annoying, I think the cybercops may be wanting a word with him. So, can you imagine if some from this board had their wish and he and Art became cellmates; how the time would fly.
Happy Sundays
No Q report today. Could that be because Art is holding back so he can drop some news in the MD&A? We can but hope.
While all previous spikes have proved to be false dawns created by numerous elements what I hope we should all agree on is that unless told otherwise one day it will be the real deal --if not I question why be here? From what I have ascertained from various parties it seems we are still at the table trying to iron out our differences with all concerned so again as not told to the contrary it's my hope we are closing in on an agreement that will finally allow us to move forward at some pace along with the mother of all rerates---the all elusive real spike whether initially created by a leak or from real news I care not.
Now, while LTH's have a legitimate beef with Art re his appalling management and communication skills which have resulted in the current dismal sp what cannot be denied that the flip side is he has created a golden opportunity for some to av down or lucky newbies to take advantage of buying while mc at near 3mill which by my conservative estimate should be 50/60 mill at first drill with a steady rise from then on as we aim to become a mid-tier producer. With that staggering potential surely worth a punt or at least grab a few for the grandkids, pet dog, mistress or fav cause....certainly knocks spots off buying Premium Bonds IMHO
I agree Art has behaved fraudulently but not sure FCA would take on the case, however, they may offer advice on how best to proceed to try to attain some justice.
Art thinks he is a smart ass passing misleading information through third parties who, with the exception of Cathy, I believe are guilty of naivety no more. We're all guilty of that to a lesser degree beliving his nonsense that NNPC would not allow him to release a more binding RNS and that he wanted to release all in one game-changing so far elusive RNS. That may still happen but I think there's also a good chance of a notice the company has gone into liquidation.
However, I still believe if enough of us band together he is still open to class action which may take it from a civil to a criminal case. I'm no expert so stand to be corrected as we really will need legal advice and I still regard that step as being someway down the road.
I suspect some may have already looked into that route as a worst-case scenario as for now all we can do is cross our fingers and hope he finally comes through with the result we all so desperately want.
Still hoping
Well well well looks like something brewing, Nigerians and the bar staff from Art local--who asked for an overdue tip from the tightass so he gave them COPL--buying big time, must be a leak...glad I'm not out of this over the weekend.
Back in the real world: looking at the volume and spike seemingly created by an inane unsubstantiated rumour and a couple of huge buys, can you imagine,if, rather than another P&D, Dumb and Dumber actually manage to finally achieve something and release it to a waiting market;the mother of all rerates...that's what keeps me here!
Come on Art and Kola, you've had nearly two years and produced near zilch.......maybe DPR, hopefully, an extended FDA, a term sheet loan agreement and a non-binding contract for a rig, "Didn't they do well!" hardly setting the world alight and may prove superfluous anyway. No more lies and spinning 'The wheel of excuses' for your ineptitude; click click click 'Hey Dumb looks like Essar this month","Well done Dumber the mugs will never recall we've repeatedly leaked that will not hold us up, no time for another spin it's tee off in 30 mins, on the company so don't want to miss it","Right you are Dumb I've already put a piece of gum next to Agamore for the next spin, time to resurrect them soon, then that should roll us into another holiday season nicely"......come on the pair of you, just get this over the line asap as you're being handsomely paid to do, will you!!!!!
I hope some levity makes my cynicism a little more palatable on this fine Sat morning... let's see if we receive anything from Art next week but I'm not sure what that optimism is based on apart from a couple of large buys on consecutive days...personally I'll need a little more than that. I sincerely hope I'm wrong!
GLAGH
Good post and summary Jiving. I was waiting for some sanity to appear on the board after the inane rambling deramping that preceded you.
The problem we have is the board is infested with pond life just waiting to surface and deramp our company after any comms are received. Same MO every time; fill the bb with nonsense to rock the ship and try to swamp the genuine posters. Normally by mid-afternoon, they fade away with the return of true investors and often an end to any artificial sp fall. Nevertheless, their aim has been achieved, damage done, so we cannot underestimate them.
Having said that Art finally coming through with the long-awaited news within the next few weeks is as critical as ever and IMO I would fill in Jiving XXX with AGA.
This is still a big risk/reward play but I still have a feeling all will come good eventually.
GLAGH
It was actually a follow up to Jiving mention of "yet another Red Herring" but seems my Sunday hungover addled brain just too far out there. Perhaps I'll keep away from the keyboard when still a little tipsy in future -- lesson learned. At least I now know how Harry feels..........FRAUD!
Oops Sunday morn not at my desk and just noticed I replied on my bro's computer without changing to my name...I did have a late night last night. Not the first time and sure won't be the last.
Anyway, I hope my little word game may give a few cause for thought though much rather Art finally comes through for us
Looking at today's sp reaction I think it's safe to presume our intrepid team leader brought diddly squat to the table at the AGM which I think will surprise nobody!. Just how much more of this nonsense are we expected to take, I can't recall the last time we had any feel-good factor/news from him[NNPC gag order my ass] just place after raise then repeat regardless of sp or investor sentiment. This simply cannot continue indefinitely...I for one expect him to come through in the coming weeks as he's suggested or will finally be cutting my substantial losses and jumping ship!!!!
Wake up Arthur you are turning the company and all associated with it --that means YOU, into a laughing stock!!!
If anyone did attend the meeting it would be great to hear from you and even better if you can prove my presumption wrong
"A ‘performance bond’ is already in place to allow the company to begin the programme"
Is this the news we've been waiting for? I've no idea how reliable 'Share Talk' or if Art has used them to leak info before so for the moment I'm containing my excitement until confirmed. But where there's hope....err there's hope.
Correct No Easy and as ever, totally wrong on every point, Harry the clown. And yes Jay I hope you are right!!
I wish not to be correct but once dismissed conclusively in Nigeria, hopefully, in June, that may only be the end of round one. After that, I fear it goes to an English court for a final ruling where I've no idea on timelines on getting it in front of a judge/panel and IF that process will affect progressing here.
Wouldn't it be nice if all of this conjecture could be put to rest with something definitive from Art in an RNS! If it is Aga holding us up at least we will have something to focus on which I don't think can be a bad thing as at least once it gets to an English court it should be dealt with quickly and decisively. Light at the end of the tunnel!!!
Of course, I'm banging the Aga drum still in the hope I'm wrong and Art drops the blockbuster RNS on us any day now....tomorrow will do nicely, he can even mention that proves the Quarterback wrong....happy to eat humble pie. That's if they serve it in the nice restaurant where I would be celebrating.
GLA LTH
after many years being invested with you for the first time, you deserve 'Ramper of the day' with that email blowing smoke up our ass re the lack of merit of the Aga claim, which we all know! but completely ignoring the point in question of how it is affecting us moving forward!
See you can do it if you try....now try the real deal, please!!!
Excuse my levity but with an Aberdeen man imposter appearing on the board and the Harry and Bonum show in full flight why not!
Precisely Jiving. I can't understand why most others cannot see it the same way --clear cut to me. While the 23rd ostensibly re jurisdiction I'm not sure it can be dismissed per se but if it is I think Art has already mentioned that would not be the end of it as still needs 'further process', which was repeated in the expansive Guitar contact which was to me old news; a mere smokescreen.,so IMO news may not flow soon, June the absolute best case scenario.
However, I presume that as Nigerian courts have no authority over this surely they cannot dismiss the case unequivocally so it will then go to UK court for arbitration!!! The entire Nigerian process was most likely a delay tactic which worked very well. Yes, Aga probably realises it may well be kicked out of an English court but I'm sure can spot the opportunity for further delay!!
No one can deny they are playing a canny game!
To summarise: once again after all we've been through thanks to no/poor/misleading communication, we find ourselves in an unenviable situation which Art instead of silly namecalling can put to rest simply by producing the news we've been waiting so long asap as promised, again! else I fear further protracted delay.
I have asked the company several times to clarify if Aga is the reason for the delay and though I have pretty good comms with both in that instance I never receive a reply. Their silence speaks a thousand words!!!
Come on Art let's see what you've got!!!!
