RE: Inflation and interest rates...23 Aug 2022 21:14
Hi Silverhorse/John Hume/Cooking etc, from my sources (reliable) our fav BoI is not going to have a permanent replacement for the lovely Francesca until 2023...hashtag OMG I hear you say... well despite the availability of Myles O’Grady after his surprise resignation from Musgrave it speaks volums. Hey guys, McDonagh and Credit Suisse is odd imho. The troubled bank elevating Ms McDonagh to COO...hashtag wowsers... 3 weeks before her expected start
– in the first big leadership reshuffle under new chief executive officer Ulrich Koerner.
lets remember Credit Suisse originally tapped Ms McDonagh in April to oversee the Europe, Middle East and Africa region but that role will now fall to the bank’s wealth management head Francesco de Ferrari.
Anyhows O’Grady, who announced his own departure from Bank of Ireland just short of a year ago, is quitting his job as Musgrave’s CFO just five months after joining to pursue a leadership opportunity in another industry. That move has led to speculation in the banking sector that Mr O’Grady could be making a return for the top job at BoI.
Thoughts???
